Magnus Carlsen’s father explained why his son refused the match for the crown

In a recent interview, Henrik Carlsen complained about the unbearably difficult format of the World Title match and noted that Magnus could not help but feel tired of it:
“As for the format, the opening preparation takes so much time and limits the game of classical chess at the highest level so much that Magnus could not help but feel tired from participating in championship cycles”
