Alexander Grischuk won the Russian Men’s Grand Prix BLITZ “Memorial of Y. L. Averbakh”

In Moscow (Russia), the blitz of the Russian Grand Prix among men “Y. L. Averbakh Memorial” has ended. 14 participants and 11 grandmasters participated in the round-robin tournament with a prize fund of 350,000 rubles. The victory was won by grandmaster Alexander Grischuk. Nikita Afanasiev is in second place. On the third – Evgeny Alekseev.

Technical results:
1st place. A. Grischuk – 10 out of 13;
2. N. Afanasiev – 9;
3-4. E. Alekseev, P. Smirnov – 8.5 each;
5. S. Rublevsky – 8.
