FIDE World Cadets Chess Championships has finished

In Batumi, the winners of the world championship among children in the younger age groups were determined. Marc Llari (France) became the champion among boys under 8 with 9.5 points out of 11. Roman Shogdzhiev (FIDE) fell behind in additional indicators, Safarullakhan Safin (India) came in third with 9 points.

Among girls under 8 years old, 1st place went to A Charvi (India) – 9.5 points, 2nd place to Bodhana Sivanandan (England) – 9.5, 3rd place to Lila Rzadkowska (Poland) – 8.5.

David Lacan Rus (France) won among boys under 10 with 9 points. Silver for Mark Smirnov (Kazakhstan) – 8.5, bronze for Patrick Liu (USA).

Nika Venskaya (FIDE) became the champion among girls under 10 with 9.5 points. In second place is Gul Senem Bassari (Turkey) – 9.5, in third – Evangelia Siskou (Greece) – 8.

Artem Uskov (FIDE) took the 1st place among boys under 12 with 9.5 points. 2nd place – Sina Movahed (Iran) – 8.5, 3rd place – Hussein Besou (Germany) – 8.5.

Gupta Shubhi (India) was the strongest among girls under 12 with 8.5 points. Maedeh Yousefian (Iran) and Oksana Goriachkina (FIDE) are behind in additional indicators.
