The Super Tournament in St. Louis has ended

Fabiano Caruana won three games on the final game day of the Fischer Chess tournament. In the tie-break with Alireza Firouzja, the rivals exchanged blows, but in Armageddon, the American grandmaster chose white with a commitment to win and eventually celebrated success. Final standings: 1. Fabiano Caruana – 6.5 points. 2. Alireza Firouzja – 6.5 points. The 3rd-4th place was shared by Ian Nepomniachtchi and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov – 6 points. 5. Wesley So – 4.5 points. 6-7 place Levon Aronian and Hikaru Nakamura – 4 points. 8-9 place Peter Svidler and Lenier Dominguez – 3.5 points. 10th place Garry Kasparov – 0.5 points.
