The World Championships among seniors are continuing. Standings after the 7th round
In Assisi (Italy), the World Championships among seniors in the age groups 50+ and 60+ are continuing. In the 50+ group, D. Lima, Holzke F, I. Morovic are in the lead – 6 each. In the 65+ group, J. Nunn – 6,5 points, half a point behind J. Kristiansen.
Dates: from 15 to 26 November
System: Swiss, 11 rounds
Prize fund: € 20,000 (1st place in both groups — € 1.200,00)
Composition: in the 50+ group — 148 participants, 14 grandmasters; in the 65+ group — 192 participants, 8 grandmasters.
