    It's a fundamental lesson that I was told soon after I started playing but it seems to be taking a long time to learn. Development and King safety first, then open up the game and attack.

    That’s a great point. Reminds me of my progress atm. One game is super. The next one is a mess. Not opening position when the opponent is more active – this thought never occurred to me so far
