me watching levy in the living room. my dad: wow that man for sure doesnt use filters

I’m around 1000 and was playing a 1300 from the discord and played beautifully had a brilliant move and then choked and lost the game

I just wanted to ask that if I am a 1000 elo and want to improve is it necessary for me to learn openings?

Thank you Levy sensei this was the perfect video for me, I identified a lot of weaknesses in my play and proceeded to play a bit better, like I was thinking in your voice during my games criticizing everything we were doing.

Gotham, you gotta change that dumbass thumbnail

I love the intermediate level chess videos!!

I just started playing and am a 600 in 10 min rapid

This made me feel better about myself as a 1650 😅 although i still blunder pieces occasionally

why do the 1000s i play against are like magnus carlsen but these ones are terrible

"What if this move doesn't happen?" is the reason I lose 75% of my games lmaooo

As a 1500, I would love to see the difference between a 2000 level

I like how I beat a 1500 yesterday as a 1000 and this video shows up lmao no joke

you should do 1500 vs 2000 this was a very informational video

I'm 2000 in puzzles but 1000 in 10min rapid. what are the tips to improve past the 1000 hurdle?

i really enjoy the videos that you make involving instruction on how to get better in the 1000-1500 range

Please do the 1500 v 2000 comparison.. I am currently at 1500 levels so your video will help

I was on a losing streak and I dropped from 1086 elo to like 910 and after watching this vid I won like 10 games in a row.
Thanks levy for your helpful content

2:28 i play the ponziani and the scotch and knight c3 on the second move
i became an e4 player because one time i played a brilliant move on move 5 of a petrov defense game and every game as white since then ive attempted and failed to recreate that

Idk what's happening but now that summer has started ive blazed through 1k and blazed through 1.1k in 3 days. The game has suddenly become so easy at my elo

I remember I used to struggle a lot to break out of the 1500 ratings because these 1500s are just like what is shown in the video: plays strong openings, keeping control of the position, playing in very principled ways, etc. I was just playing and climbing the ladder at that time so I didn't know a lot about the positional concepts, I was not able to control myself, etc. and I was stuck in a loop of winning and losing at the 1500 level. I tried studying and playing a bit more and I was able to break it to the 1800 level. There's a reason why these 1500s are the 80th-90th quartile of the chess ladder despite having an elo half of the Grandmasters. 1500s are monsters sometimes, and the higher you get up the rating ladder, the scarier the monsters.

My exam in 1 hour and i am here watching this video☠️

I don't comment often, but I lurk and watch alot haha. Just wanted to say, I really do appreciate this type of content, so please yes: more of these!

OMG YOU ARE ON MRBEAST GAMING VIDEO ( LUDWIG PART )

Great comparison. I'm 1500 and I would like to see 1500 vs 2000.

The black 1000 Elo player made it his mission he had no pieces to win the game 😂

a great video would be intermediate vs advanced players' ENDGAMES. we'll get to know how advanced players think in an endgame compared to an intermediate player

He's so good at this. These videos are always helpful and interesting.
