I stayed awake for this games. Hikarus game made me sit on the edge of my chair!

I am not saying I would find it in such a position, but looking at it, it seemed kinda a natural move

Wow I stopped watching Ian's game when it was a clear draw, but this. Whaaaaaaaaaat

You said “spoiler alert” but then you didn’t provide a spoiler 😂

I literally love your commentary day by day for the candidates. Thanks so much Levy. Cheers.

It does get quite shouty in the last recap, i could do without that…

Lei is insane, she should be in the open instead ahhaaha

You told us about chessly a round after it begun

This is called the Double Queen's Gambit! I have a book on this and use it in my online games. 🙂

Hikaru would be leading if he would have won against vidit

Ian trying hard just to choke again in finals 😂

in the tan zhogyi game there was Nxe5

Watching Hikaru fans raging over the fact that Ian's opponents don't play like Magnus Carlsen is actually quite funny

    r b1 r b1 make a move that makes no sense….. 6:27 me vibing

have you thought of making a series like "road to GM" or something? A lot of people would enjoy watching your suffering and triumph

You had one job Vidit, and you did it perfectly 😂😂😂

I don't understand what's going on in Vidit's mind, you are not supposed to go all in against the top contender of the standings in a round robin, cuz if you lose you have 0 chances of winning. If you draw, or stop the guy, you still have some chances. If you win, you get the best chances but they are still not very high chances depending on the next matches.
This is why I hate this format, it has almost nothing to do with chess itself, more like round robin strategies, which is fucked up due to how the winning takes all instead of being "the 3 top win" and stuff like this. Makes this format unfair.

Ian is like a guy who’s just getting to the boss of the level again and again

Всё, что Яну надо сделать: допройти уровень и завалить наконец босса

After 42th round on the first place Ian be like:
“Ah sh—, here we go again”

Okay now Levy has to work on regrowing his hair, its not too late

I hope today is Vidit‘s (win) and Abasov’s (a draw, ofc) day

The crown has never been so close, all you need is a hat-trick

    Янчик, жги и не сдавайся

In some ways, I feel sorry for Ian as he seems like a pretty cool guy and has been somewhat unlucky in world championship matches, but also, I think for the health of chess it would be much better for Gukesh or Hikaru to get through

These Levy recaps are so good I'm going to miss them afterwards.

vd, you are the best…. you still can win the candidates agar aap nahi bhi jeete to mere liye aur hum sab ke liye aap hi favourite rahoge aur aap hi best player rahoge…. you are just OP!!! we love you and we'll love you till the end🖤🖤❣️

28:30 levi did dirty to nepo !!!! that was one hell of a burn ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

"2 time defending candidates champion? MORE LIKE 2 TIME LOST IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONCHIP MATCH" is crazyyyyyyy 😭

Another game, which looks a like lucky defense and win for Ian. Or is it?
"Lucky" 39 games in a row. What a beast.

P.S. don't forget how unlucky Ian was with Abasov games, where Abasov turn turbo mod on and made all perfect moves, noone knows how.

Nepo has Got the Plot Armour; Vidit is – The King of Chaos!!

"Should have went" – Levy, stop butchering your native language 🙂
