BC5 is generally considered a mistake by NXP, then NXN and D4, which forks the bishop and knight.
Ok this makes me want to stop playing the Caro Kann to get some easy wins here
3:24 why dont white move the bishop to c4? Black doesnt control that square
You have to know this, here is the move it starts with
this is the same thing bobbybo did but earlier in the game
i am a beginner (450 rated) and i still see this once every 3-4 games as black, and this will surely be helpful, thanks!
Didn't ChessPage1 Make a video on this just then?
Great vid as usual, let me finish takin my notes and you can delete📝👌🏻

6:00 this is exactly how I lost yesterday.
Thank you! What about other white options after d6 Q:d6 K:f7 Qc6?
Fried Liver… more like burned liver
Hmmmm I mostly advance the f3 knight to allow the queen to go to h4 if the knight takes, then sacrifing the rook start my own counter attack which leads to checkmate most of the time
Is it gonna be "Traxler" ? 😏
You have to know this
Here's the moves it starts with
Thanks it will really help
(Наверное)у меня ело 2000 и я всё равно это смотрю чтобы понять как от этого защититься
thank you!!!!
ive seen so many beginner videos about the fried liver but somehow i can just never wrap my head around good responses to it, hopefully this video will cement some counterplay into my head lol
I loved this line
Norway chess video …… make videos on Norway chess nelson…………………. specially gukesh
I was stuck at 800 and then I found out about this fried liver technique and it help me reach 1000
This is useful unless a fried liver attack people watch it
I like learning these types of moves even though I'm below 400 rating
ngl as a 600 I saw this trap yesterday but it was a Giuoco Piano Four Knights instead, and I panicked and castled, then thought it was a bad move (though I checked game review and it said best move)
tbh it was a horrible game for both sides, I only won because opponent was too focused on attacking me (they had M2) and hung M1 which resulted in my win
This is very powerful opening! Most Fried Livers only learn the main lines and the trap line, so if you throw this opening right on their face, they'll not able to remove it out of their face!
Me 1st comment
I’m 1300 and I see this every other game as black it feels like, thank you for this
Very Early
i fell for it once
Another SCAM from the New York City conman rump is playing on his minions makes true patriots ( those that hate rump for trying to VIOLENTLY STEAL the election ) angry?
Kasparov style he added more spice to it
After watching this video. Played a game and he went for knight g5 and i countered as you say and after queen takes pawn on g2, he didn't move his bishop to f1 to defend it. Instead he played queen to e2 and checked my king and I tried to hold my position but i lost 😭😭😭 6:48
Between this and the Traxler that pretty much seals the deal as far as not playing 4. Ng5 against the Two Knights. Better to play 4. d3 and transpose into the Giuoco Pianissimo.
What about 4… Nd4 5.O-O?
I tried to test it with stockfish many times but it never attacks the rook and always defends the bishop
3:24 = bishop to C4 instead of B3?
lol I'm 400 and I do this all the time
At 3:23, why wouldn't white move the bishop to c4? Is it too important to keep it protected in case of a trade?
Ah yes the Fritz defense and at 6:51 we respond with Bf1! and we get a slight better position
Thank you!! I love you
I play sicilian and almost forgot this exists.
I’m looking for the variation where black gets in the move F-5; I think it’s called the Schevenigen variation.
👍
after I played B5 he played bishop f1 .. then I was completely fucked
You can't " punish" 4Ng5, it's a normal line. 5…Nd4 is just bad.
If of pawn c3 whatif white played castle .. all your efforts will be in vain atleast for this video .. can you explain Nelson?
What if she castles before capturing rook
This video is great. Thank you for sharing.

What is the response for black if Bc4 instead of Bb3 occurs?
