what if they play bishop c4 escaping
    when they take with bishop

This is basically a different version of the Blackburn shrine gambit

Btw, I know that I did a spelling error, I just don’t know how to spell it

I played this as Black and got 100% accuracy

Love it. Watched your vid about 5 days ago and have had two games since to put it to use. First one (daily game) is still going but defense worked and the game goes on. Second game (just finished) worked exactly as you showed with the black queen checking and white having to decide between lost queen or smothered mate.

    New subscriber. New fan.

No way, that was what I was thinking. you don’t need to take back the pawn!

Same checkmate as “you have to know this”

this is my favorite trap, did you really have to destroy it with this tutorial 😭😭

It transposes into the blackburn shilling type trap.

The Chess Vibe Course cost $49? So it's not a monthly subscription cost.

Thank you Nelson! I just won in 10 moves (my fastest win ever) with this trap! It made me laugh so hard. Really appreciate this video. btw really love watching the channel

Wow that's wonderful, I won't struggle no more with fried liver. Thanks!

Ive studied this for years and nobody knew how to respond
    Highly recommend, easy wins

how about opening white bishop in dark squares to threathens the queen? rather than white castling?

i am playing the traxler counter for this. but i think this is a better version of anti fried liver. i will go for this.

Fabi should have watched this & avoided his loss against Hikaru in finals.

after watching this video, first game i play they play the Fried Liver and fell for the trap. Tysm

I always play Ne5 after d5 and after c3, I play b5. Its very common that happens

Didn't know this trap. Traxler still looks more viable for me, but definitely going to try this too. Thanks

I play the fried liver, now my elo is gonna drop

"Here's the move it starts with, they don't know they just see this."

Hell yeah, today is the first time my oponent fell for the trap and also first time I mated with a smoothered mate

3:20 What if instead of moving their bishop, they move pawn to C3, threatening your night? The resulting position is MUCH weaker for black then, isn't it?

How can it be "rare" if 347,995 people fell into the trap?

thank you for this very useful and instructive video!

    3:22 Please explain what deal with [8. Bh5…] or [8. Bc4…]

Instructions unclear, they kidnapped my king.

Just played this for the first time as an 1100 player. Is certainly a lot of fun, I'm going to have to keep doing this, thanks!

In the line the B takes, after black plays Bg4, why can't W play Qc4+?

Problem is if white plays pond to e3 after we move the queen to c6…

I do Traxler every time and get excited to see the Fried Liver coming because of it. But this looks even better.

I start with kings indian, and scarifise rook + pawn for knight + bishop, in endgame there is huge chance for struggle but i play agrreaaive in middlegame. 50/50

This is a really good line for black against the fried liver. Black is in good shape whatever option white takes and it’s white that is got the main traps to avoid

Great video, Nelson! I see this attack consistently; I usually respond by advancing my H1 or A1 pawn in advance of it. But sometimes, I overlook the threat and get decimated.
