6:20 You are the person with teacher experience here, but my problem and most people i know who play chess problem is that we dont go past our opponents turn.
I probably would have missed that move because i would say "I take but my opponent takes" not thinking of my turn after that, because at surface level, my move is only as good as my opponent's reaction.

"How to lose at chess" is your most entertaining AND instructive series ever. Much better than guess the ELO.

Why is it Levy's storytelling made things twisted and then leaves you with shock for like 30 straight seconds.

Wait Logic Police here How are there 400 blunders when there are only 32 pieces on the board

As a 400 elo chess player i can confirm white planned this all from the beginning

can you please do more win at chess/chess steps; i get that you’re trying to cater to beginners but some of us longer viewers know that the knights go to the middle of the board. do more intermediate content

I watched this on my lunch break and now I'm even more stressed than when my break started

"And black pushed the wrong pawn💀"
I was dying on the floor💀

Gotham I would absolutely destroy you if we were on the “balanced” mode.

After all, you can’t checkmate me if you only have a king.

You don't realise how happy I am that it wasn't a stalemate.

18:23 so I think here they didn't see discovered check, but though if bishop takes, Qh2+ forks the bishop and king for simplification

The stop calculating on your opponents turn is a jewl for beginners good lesson

Levy’s ‘I’m going to be so sneaky’ made me laugh so hard.

"You never want to end a calculation on your move." Best tip! I always make brilliant calculations but my opponent never plays along…

please give some respect to those players bruh they can the future grandmasters `~`

Just watched Hikaru premove mittens for a win, this will be a good balance.

18 minutes my ass the three round fight turned into a 4th for the 400 elos XD

i got computer exams tomorrow and still watching this rn 😅😅

To get in the video, I should get my elo to 500

This is going to be an annoying comment, but Levy always says “instructional” when he means “instructive” and it kinda gets to me.

Oh, come on, what do you expect from us babies (400 elos)?

This match was an example of how to shoot your self in the foot while also hitting every organ but still living

    I am 400 elo but I only blunder 14 times a match(still a lot tho😭)

"Have you ever seen a fight?"
"Yes, the fight between me and my sanity when I watch Gotham videos"

    𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 says:

imagine if they played the vienna gambit… Levy would be so happy

One thing I really like about low elo games is that at any given moment, the match can end in a stalemate, it always keeps that thought in the back of your mind of "when will it happen?"

When he said bucel up i was in a car LOL

I'm a 700 i i have to say that i understand why white took so long, sometimes you just want to have more queens. In one of my games i had for 20 turns mate in 3 but i promoted two pawns to checkmate with 3 queens

where is gothamchess in this game of 400 elo players

Got to be one of the best introductions in any YouTube video
