This highlights the importance of King development. I think in my next game I will not castle, Kd2 or something instead.

I did that recently with a kinglift, letting him eat my bishop and doing a king+rook mate. Was a time scramble but i was sure he'd fall for it

at 1500 I still save the odd game this way
After seing this video I immediatly tried this strategy, against a 1200 bot, 9 points down i checkmated his King With my king and my pawn, it works perfectly!
