The problem with all these "gain ELO by doing this" videos is that Levy now has so many subscribers that they become less useful because of the sheer number of people that can then employ them, especially at the n00b level I'm at (~1000)

This was my favorite video in a while. I was expecting clickbait, with the secret being ironic or “just make sure your opponent misses M1 eight times”, but this was actionable advice! More of these types of videos please.

Here's a joke… how do you tell the chess player from the non chess player by looking at their cells only? Looking at the finger print on the screen habitually the chess player has lots of finger marks on their screen…while the non player has two marks: the call and hang up printings on the screen.

I had a game recently where I had king and three pawns against king, ROOK and two pawns. I ran my king at the pawns, pushed my own, and got both enemy pawns and queened one of mine en route to victory.

I had a similar scenario – I was in a lost position, was getting mated in like three moves and the opponent had 3 pieces attacking my king
They then moved a 4th piece to attack my king, and subsequently blundered mate in one
6:35 "1700 on lichess cant even see.."? The guy took a pawn and a rook instead of just a rook, why is that bad?? Why are you saying he didnt see it, as if its a better move when in fact he made the better choice, just because he takes a rook 1 move later doesnt make it worse?? Levy where's the logic please respond

Before I watched this, I ran my king, i had 1 bishop and a pawn and my king, the opposing team had 2 bishops and 4 pawns, and of course the king. I kept on running my king over and over and I won. Best win of my life
