Dude this literally happened to me in rapid. Maybe a year ago. I'm literally being mated in one. They got confused when I suddenly moved my pawn out of nowhere and intended to make a pawn sacrifice, but the plan was to open the diagonal for the queen to do a backrank mate (and thanks for that blocked pawn on the castled side that protected the square on where the king should go)

This reminds me of 1 game I played where I hung my queen but I had a couple things going. I was up positionally with more active pieces and my opponent had doubled pawns in front of his king. Long story short I was able to use this weakness to attack my opponents king and they were forced to sacrifice their queen for my rook and I was able to win the game
