A brief history of chess – Alex Gendler
Trace the storied history of the game of chess, from its origins in 7th century India to the computer software we use today.
—
The attacking infantry advances, their elephants already having broken the defensive line. The king tries to retreat, but the enemy flanks him from the rear. Escape is impossible. This isn’t a real war— nor is it just a game. Over the 1,500 years of its existence, chess has been known as a military strategy tool, a metaphor for human affairs and a measure of genius. Alex Gendler shares its history.

As an animation company we´d be interested in getting into contact with feature writers (I think it is called) who write scripts that could be used for these types of content. We only have people who make scripts funny 🙂 But serious writers tend to attract serious clients and that means serious money to make something funny.
We could lay down a very competitive price together for this type of content. Also, we´d be interested in platforms that would want this type of content 🙂 Any advice would be appreciated. Is there a forum to join or something?
3:04 I heard that the Taliban regime in Afghanistan has also banned chess recently.
Chinese chess or Xiangqi did not get any influence from Chess actually

❤️Jesus lived the life we couldn't live and died the death we deserve. Repent of your sins and trust in Him💜
Cool
I will beat any chess player in this world ♟️, 🇲🇾 king never move.. only castle 🏯 will take down enemy horse 🐎
I was under the impression that the Nordic game "Hatenfatl" (sp) also played a part in the development of Chess.
I just always try to move a bunch of pieces to the center of the board, castle early, and then try not to get into uneven trades
Not sure if it’s the best strategy but I developed it in middle school and never stopped using it
Me being a chess player me forking my enemys queen king and rook;)
If you pretend to explain anything about chess, see to it that boards are, at least, situated right. Right?!
It's a game of free will vs chance, to an extent..
Way to skip over Fischer in favor of Deep Blue
