Amazing game but your coverage of it is low value .. im used to better coverage from your channel but this time im disappointed .. hope it's a one time issue

And to get such exciting games at the world championship level, the only thing we had to do was… to say good-bye to Magnus 😉 Now that's irony

@gothamchess u really shouldn’t feel the need to apologize for being a bit later on the recap. People should be thankful u make it within 24 hours of the game end. So keep going strong but don’t feel pressured to upload superfast, most of us will happily wait a little bit longer😊

Great moments but not great chess. Fischer, Karpov and Kasparov in their prime would have destroyed these two. Fischer may have even gone 6 – 0 against either of them. Why do you think Magnus resigned his title? There was no worthy opponent is why.

your videos are cool but im not gonna sugarcoat it levy you look like a maximum power wojak in this thumbnail

I Appreciate Levy for making this video just after he came from flight

When the goat decides not to play the world chess championship, suddenly every game is interesting and everyone is fighting on equal terms.
That is how one sided Magnus is!

chess gods: how many brilliant moves do you want?
    levy: yes

The biggest rocket ever built is launching tomorrow you should play chess against it

I am wondering why they got more time, can someone explain?

Find a woman that loves you as much as levy loves the london

    OMG and if Bxg6, hxg6+, Kh8, Qxg8!!, Kxg8 Ra8# !!!! WTFFFF 😱😱😱

    Amazing match.
Can't wait to see who wins😍

Levy we're angry. You said 2 or 3 hrs later

"What's worth more than a rook? You." Surprisingly wholesome😊

Please don't tell us the result in the video title.

Why doenst Ian Nepo have indian flag on him but rather the international one? Is it just in this video or is there a reason behind it?

Gotham when I saw you walk out with Michelle I went fucking mental

It’s always game 6. Ever since Fischer vs Spassky, Magnus vs Nepo, now this. Amazing

I would call that final combination by Ding Alekhinesque (you don't really know what's happening until it's over).

At 2:15 epic voiceover guy: "In a world… chess championship"

i like the thumbnail i miss people enlarging eyes and stuff

it's funny how Magnus' gripes w the WCC format is that it leads to drawish indecisive games, and in this WCC it's becoming more and more clear that that had less to do w the format and way more to do w the fact that Magnus is just the juggernaut of chess right now. Magnus decides he's not gonna play in this WCC and ALL OF A SUDDEN the majority of the games are decisive and entertaining for the first time in a decade

NEW RULE: the number 1 rated player is no longer allowed to play in the world championship

"and I win your queen, which is sensational"

F a stare, anybody else get an ad starting "You're probably watching a Gotham Chess video…" 😃😵😵

I like How we praise Magnus for losing and giving Us a good Championship

I wish the thumbnail didn't spoil the result.

This has to have been the most interesting and exciting London System game I've ever seen.

Ding would obviously lose to Nepo in Boxing makes me wonder if Nepo wins against Magnus in Boxing. They both look like they can fight or at least physically capable.

why did the time go up when he moved the knight

At 6:23, Levy says that "you cannot take the knight, as it loses instantly to the fork." This is not accurate.

The black Queen gets out of the fork by going to QN3 (b6) to atttack the white Bishop. If the white Bishop runs away to safety, then the previously forked black Bishop escapes. So, black does not lose on the spot.

No, the problem is not that white takes the black Bishop, but in doing so either the black pawn takes the knight, exposing the black King OR black takes the white Bishop and the white pawn, having taken the Knight takes the black pawn in front of the King, exposing it to trouble. This was not shown, so I am not convinced that our genial host saw why the fork was so bad! After a flight, no shame in that.

I want an edit of Levy saying "The goat is back."

Ding won the game when he played Pawn D5, and at that moment he had already calculated all the variables!!! That's how a GM plays.

‘Those two things are not correlated’

    🤣🤣

beautiful recaps, huge thanks, Levy! 🙂

Nepo never can defeat magnus in last championship, it's second rate championship

Not gonna lie, honestly wait for levi to make his video rather than watching the live stream. Better content all round in my opinion

Watched it live with my own analysis board up. Was a lot of fun to what shortcomings the variations I came up with had. but I never played a classical game myself.

The bodily reaction when Ding found Mate in 19 was exceptional. You could see them run away from their rest room to the board and visibly shake.

correction: @6:21 Nxe5 does NOT lose on the spot, as after Nxe5 dxe5 there is Qb6! hitting the bishop. It's still much better for white practically speaking but nowhere close to over.

Funny how computer goes from mate in 11 to mate in 8 on Qf7!!

    19:16 why streamers don't mention the second option of queen sacrifice?: if Bxg6, hxg6+ Kh8, Qxg8+!! Kxg8, Ra8#.

How Ding set up mating net by placing d5 and h5 pawns so coordinated with queen, rook and knight is amazing to create the unstoppable checmate by Ding at the end game, that was so brilliant.

Here I was thinking D5 was just regular Levy (which, don't get me wrong, I enjoy – I'm waiting 😊). But FUCK ME SIDEWAYS, what an epic finish sequence!
