a lot of respect for Gotham chess but its pretty clear why Magnus chose Rook. The capacity to check off the exchange puts black 1 move ahead. Even ditsy Queen's gambit told everyone that its not a shame to lose when starting with black because white is one move ahead. I haven't been a serious chess player for 30 years but i did start to beat my dad at 6 years old. And until an operation in year y, 12 years old i was my schools team number 1 A team player. Although for year 7 (in australia). Making videos for views is important but a little upset that Gotham Chess made this look impressive when it was simply a black powerplay to get black leading in moves. I'm mocking Gotham Chess because in his low elo challenge videos he always stresses about shifting the initiative move if you start on black.,,,,
I'm a volunteer firefighter in Australia, and you can actually fight fire with fire, so to speak, in a process called back-burning. Basically, you pre-burn an area ahead of the fire that you keep under control, so there is no fuel to keep the main fire going. It does depend a lot on the circumstances, though (weather conditions, size of the main fire, landscape, etc).

Yes. You can fight fire with fire. You control burn a part of the vegetation preventing a fire to spread. Americans are funny. Spending hundreds of thousands on educating themselves about pronouns that don't exist.
Just to respond the question:
You absolutely can fight fire with fire.
By burning surrounding bushes and vegetation in the perimeter of a larger fire you can effectivelly isolate it by denying vectors of spread. Essencially starving the larger fire of more fuel and reducing pathways for it to spread.
Its surprinsingly efective and its frequently used I believe in Austrália.
