Seems like fun, would be nice with visuals as if it weren't a game of chess.

Makes it seem like one of those atmospheric, fun, creative, indie strategy games.
    Kinda like Inscryption.

A better idea for catapult would be “takes 1 turn to charge / reload, and then attacks any square that doesn’t have a piece guarding it vertically, horizontally, or diagonally

Why does that avatar on the overworld look like Magnus Carlsen? 😂

Pegasus rider is the most anoying peice in the game by far

dude it says it releases on february 27th and thats my birthday

The reason for killing one of your pieces is that you could get rid of a piece blocking another piece so that you can well, yeah, you get what I mean right?

10:05 What the hell happened! The rook moved like a bishop, and it didn't have any upgrades.

as a person who plays alot of chess this hurts my brain

can someone tell what cardinslly means english is not my first language

17:30 he didn't make the dumbest move. If he took your cardinal you would be checking the enemy king with your fool.

Backstabbing knife is mostly useful with assassin and blade dancer, although blade dancer is broken regardless, especially with the rock breaking passive and rock placing passive

OUROBOROS??? IS THAT A GD REFERENCE??

10:55 im pretty sure you could've blocked the check with your knight rider; knight riders can move twice, but can't jump over the first square it lands on before it jumps to the second one

    Very interesting game!

Wait this is polished version of chess evolved?

I could swear the person in the picture used in the meme at the start is supposed to be Magnus Carlsen, while the actual picture on steam has someone else on it.

If you like chess but the game ends before you get into an endgame, try out Shogi. In Shogi, every game ends in a king hunt, often started with a sacrifice.

    When 5:11 happened I’m like:
“Is this a new rule in chess?”
    And also
“What in the name of the queen?”

Imagine this game with multiverse time travel.
Actually don't imagine that, my brain hurts just thinking about it.

for the last fight he was just like:”oh no, anyway”

A chaotic rouge like game based around fairy chess? sign me in

Lol the player icon in the world map resembles Magnus

I would love to see more of this game it was really cool, (I already wishlisted it).
