Hikaru would run it to 2 seconds and resign instead of just losing. I never understand the argument “Not resigning is disrespectful”

He still waited 20 minutes just to decide “yeah it’s not ideal” at least have enough respect to allow your opponent to continue their calculation.

The ending of the game isnt explained. At least not for chess dummies.

I have to say that I love both Magnus and Hikaru equally. I am very grateful for their contributions to the game.

Eh could you explain why it is a resign for the dumb crowd please?

Thanks, great commentary as always, I enjoyed it! BTW, I find it somewhat amusing that in the chess world, people are said to "destroy", "humiliate" and "teach" their opponent, when in truth they simply find the better moves 🙂

we are in 2023 use the past tense in your title 😅

Is Hakaru about to fall from his chair??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Such a pleasure watching this channel grow and continue to develop into one of the very best online chess channels.

GOAT = performance / behavior. It’s his behavior that drags him down.

Magnus' end game is unmatched, perhaps throughout history.

Good video. Nakamura v Carlsen Round 3 at the Zurich Chess Challenge (2014) is another great psychological game. Nakamura recently did a video on it.
