8:18 "this guy! open him up!" this is so wrong without context lmaoo

I'm stuck at 1900+. I really want to improve and reach 2000. I already master my opening, but make dumb tactical decisions in middle game. But thanks Gotham for the tips.

I swear to God I'm 800 elo and get opponents that are better than these 1100 and 1300 elo players

I played a lot of bots, eventually beat all the advanced bots up to 1900 and then tried to learn openings and cant beat even the 1500 since. Lol… intuition gone.. now thinking of book moves and missing the positional play…

Levy teaching us how to reach 3000 elo is like a guy who has 10 subcribers teaching us to reach 1 mil subs

man this guy always offers new stuff to learn its worth every minute of the vid

I dare Levy to do the daily puzzle (Thursday, March 2)

What really made me to click on this video: scam thumbnail

I suspect a lot of your other viewers also have pawn-blindness, but that's a different story and we don't judge.

How can i join your corse?
And your corses are for what level of players?

I dont understand why bishop to f4 in the 2100 game isnt thought of by gotham

To be fair with the 2100 he could have remembered the line but also remembered that en passant is forced.

19:15 Is this the first time that a Japanese player appeared in this channel?
In our country, chess players are super rare. (I have never met one in real life)

I don't care what theory says if you see en-passent YOU HAVE TO PLAY IT that's probably what the 2100 thought and it's a logical plan. (Please apologize for this rookie mistake of yours telling him to go d3 is a terrible move!

i went on a 5 winstreak as an 800 with the vienna after this video ur explaining is entretaining and educational

Video idea : Chatgpt VS Martin WITH 30 QUEENS very intense match

I think when Levy will die(I hope not),We,Teenagers will honour him respectfully.Because,he has made our childhood chess better.

Levy: if you don't know your openings, don't go in a game
Me af 400: starts a game

Can’t believe you criticised him for not playing d3 when en passant is forced.

levy on every single video : *waits for 10000hours*………………….. ladies and gentlemen… chess……………. is a game…………………………….

One of the rare videos from you where i feel iv learned something

I was just watching this and then advertisement came and it was saying looks like you are watching a Gotham chess video
    Are advertisements reading our mind?

I really like this video format. Please do more videos like this where you pinpoint what a player did wrong in their game and then give suggestions for what the player may need to study in order to improve the part of the game that was apparently a weakness.

What did u expect? We watch all yout how to lose videos and lose braincells 😅

Honestly i dont feel like levy is good enough at chess to teach people how to play, to win many games i follow the advice of GM whose FIDE rating is 7th in US: "Plug the fucking laptop in"

Hi levy, I wanted to submit one of my games where as a 900 on blitz I pulled 2 brilliant moves in a game where I was a knight down, anyway here is the PGN of the game
    1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Qxd5 3. Nc3 Qd7 4. Nf3 Nc6 5. a3 e5 6. d4 exd4 7. Ne2 Bc5 8.
    Qd3 Nf6 9. Bf4 O-O 10. O-O-O Qd5 11. c4 Qh5 12. Ng3 Bf5 13. Nxf5 Rad8 14. Bxc7
    Rd7 15. Bf4 a6 16. Be2 b5 17. Ne5 Nxe5 18. Bxe5 Qg5+ 19. Kb1 bxc4 20. Qxc4 Qxf5+
    21. Ka1 Qxe5 22. g3 Bxa3 23. bxa3 d3+ 24. Kb1 dxe2 25. Rxd7 Nxd7 26. Re1 Qf5+
    27. Kc1 Qxf2 28. Rxe2 Qf1+ 29. Kd2 Ne5 30. Qe4 f6 31. Ke3 Qg1+ 32. Kd2 Rd8+ 0-1

I used to analyse more before chesscom locked computer analysis behind a paywall

I'd like to have seen (which was promised in the intro) a discussion about how to use the engine to not only identify where errors were made but how to draw the conclusions you came to in this video about your subs' play.

Me personally, I look at the game analysis after every single game to see both where I blundered and where and how I lost, and then hopefully I pull the right lesson out of the magic squiggles of the Communist website's game review. But you didn't do much as go into the expected discussion about using the tools available.

Hey Levy, got to give you this. Your way of teaching is highly entertaining. Got hooked on your videos for a while. Then at one stage i had watched all the ‘live’ games where you play against subscribers. Thank god there weren’t any more to be watched. So I took a break. Eagerly waiting for you to do more of the games vs subscribers. Anyway – just wanted to share this. Regards from Singapore

The French Exchange is awful. As a 1600 French player, I hate it with a dying passion, because it basically guarantees and extremely boring draw. Why even play chess if your going to play for a draw as White on the 2nd move?

I always thought pawn blindness was a myth when I was a teenager.

I was half expecting him to just say, "Use Stockfish" but Father Levy would never stoop so low.

omg, as a caro enjoyer, the 2nd game was atrocious to watch.
