in brazil we call the knight horse. its literally the horse translation.

i love how he referenced the hans niemann situation it had me rolling

7:01 “As long as you learn to address early aggression and kind of nonsense openings, you’ll be fine.” Could be advice for someone who gets flirted with a lot.

The checkmate translation is said the same as a lot of other languages than Persian

Correcting the first question, it's not the Persian language it's the Arabic language. and not frozen it is dead .

Charles leclerc gave up on F1 and started with Chess

szach mat is how you say checkmate in polish

In Brazilian-Portuguese we call them Horses, so yeah… I don't know why you all call them Knights.

Can't believe levy has become so famous. Following him since 100k. keep going gotham. Also don't make so many guess the elo episodes they are not good for your health 🙂

hi in hungaryen (my first languega) chessmate is "sakkmatt" which is pronunced the exact same as the persian version "sakk" referes to chess

In Russian, for example, Knight is actually called Конь [kon'], a male horse

It's so bizarre to see Levy acting professionally after you watch his streams.

i never thought id see contrapoints in a video abt chess LMAO

Oh shoot I thought queen just moved to f6 for checkmate in 1. Didn’t see anything which is why I’m bad at chess😂😂

Was this really the best thumbnail that your organization could produce?

If you are young – don't start doing chess.
Learn artistic skill, engineering skill, anything. Chess is a memory and attention game mostly, it has nothing to do with intellect or wisdom, don't be fooled.

I laughed when he said that the Knight should be called a Horse since it looks like one. In (brazilian) portuguese we literally call it Horse

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

solved both in secs too. where do I get a cookie?

“Vibrating devices in their shoe or elsewhere”
Hmm where else could they put it? 🤔

9:54 in Brasil we call the knight by its righteous name, cavalo , wich means horse in pt-br .In 12:51 couldnt u just check mate by going to f4 with the queen?

You sure Stockfish is the best? Have you ever thaught about AlphaZero

I was really surprised he plays the caro-kann

I love seeing Levy getting love on other channels . Has been my Chess Guy for a little while now , just love to see people that I have followed shine !

Gothamchess is so stupid, he thinks his audience has an IQ below 115 and falls for clickbait thumbnails. Pathetic
