the way you said šah mat was insanley good

in my country we say shah mat and its in albanian too till today

I’m assuming magnus has lost at least one game so he’s not the best of all time, the person with that title already died I’m pretty sure or at least retired

In Czech We use Šach mat, which is exactly same as the persian one.. 😳

glances at the puzzle for a moment
    Yeah, I solved it

If it hasnt been done, can we get fighting game support?

For the paul morphy puzzle would using the rook to take b8 not simply do checkmate in 1 move?

    Ah.. Yes.
My favorite part of Game of Thrones is when Cersei was riding her dragon to kill Daenerys but then out of nowhere one of her unsullied became a dragon and help her win! His name was Johny Thrones.

There should be a movie of someone trying to cheat at chess

    Very good.

But I feel like something was missing. It would have been nice to hear about the benefits of practicing chess.

in serbian šah or shah means chess so i assume it could be the same idk

Wow I didn't realize elija wood was a chess champion

Funny how Kasparov was the one who fact checked considering how sexist he was. Gave the Polgar sisters such a hard time. Explains why the show stated Gaprindashvili never played against men which was a complete lie…

Fun fact when Beth Harmon was playing simultanius in that dudes basement I recognized one of the games it was Paul morphs famous game

can you solve this puz…. yea i solved it lol

i loved watching a deep dive on the deep blue match.

The Queen's gambit girl looked just like my little sister did back in the early 70's. Unfortunately, the brain part didn't match.

“Vibrating devices in their shoe or elsewhere.” Could you elaborate on elsewhere Levy?🤔

Magnus is Very Good but not the greatest of all time. Remember before we had engines we had real masters who calculated purely using their brain power. Nowadays everyone sits infant of an engine and examines every possible move. This for me is not chess.

he actually made a mistake at 14:00. The king wouldnt be able to capture the queen bc the rook was defending the queen lol. bad look

2:04 "Magnus has an incredible stamina. He will go on for 5, 6, 7 hours." is a statement easily taken out of context.

Wait so pawn to f3 then king to f2 and then king to e1 is an even worse bongcloud opening?

this guy can't even beat a 12 year old Abhimanyu Mishra

I feel like the knight is better earlier in the game as it can jump over other pieces, whereas the bishop would have to execute

There's three phases to a game unless you are playing Magnus, then you just lose in like 8 moves
