Thank you for teaching. Few Chess players are capable.

I am going to watch this over and over and over.

That's called Diemer Gambit, the great German Grandmaster Emil Joseph Diemer created it

What if they play f2 takes pawn instead of bishop takes bishop?

This guy knows what he is talking about!

The king could go to d2 and avoid all that after night promotion… But instead you lied and said took is forced to capture it on g1

i did not know this was a gambi, i just used to play it cz i like it lmao

If i was white I would play Knight to g3 instead of pawn to e3

I have played against the queen's gambit a million times and not once someone ever played pawn to e3, and you didn't cover other variations.

Nelsons vids are so clear and fun. What I like also is how genuine and honest he is. He will let you know that he lost a game and was outplayed if thats what happened.
One of my fav chess youtubers.

I liked that you put a rating rage for this opening. Please keep doing that ❤

Just a little thing in 7:57. In that position, you could also threaten opera's mate with bishop g4 and rook d1, even better than taking a bishop imo cause it puts pressure

Why wouldn’t white just return their king to the starting square after black promotes the knight on g1? Evades the check and protects the queen

Literally just won a game using that trap!!

My go to variation of the albin countergambit is the lasker trap. I've won in as little as 9 to 12 moves.

Òooooooo I have solution here queens gambit players

    These are the MAIN lines:

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 e5 3. dxe5 d4 4. Nf3 Nc6 5. g3 Nge7 6. Bg2 Ng6 7. O-O Ngxe5 8. Nxe5 Nxe5 9. Na3 Be7 10. Nb5 O-O 11. Bf4 Bf6 12. Nxd4 Nxc4 13. Nb5 c6 14. Nc7 g5 15. Bxg5 Bxg5 16. Nxa8 Qxd1 17. Raxd1 Nxb2 (D09 Queen's Gambit Declined: Albin Countergambit, Fianchetto Variation)

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 e5 3. dxe5 d4 4. Nf3 Nc6 5. a3 Nge7 6. b4 Ng6 7. Bb2 a5 8. b5 Ncxe5 9. Nxe5 Nxe5 10. Bxd4 Nxc4 11. e3 Be6 12. Qc2 Nd6 13. Nd2 Qd7 14. Qb2 (D08 Queen's Gambit Declined: Albin Countergambit, Normal Line)

I never accept a Queen's Gambit, maybe I did once or twice but I don't like to accept, because it's kind of what the opponent wants, isn't it? I also like to play really agressively so this suits me very well!

If there’s any legal way to cheat in chess, it’s by watching this channel.

What if the opponent takes on d5 after e5?

This opening depends on a lot of poor play from white.

3:33 Why is white forced to recapture the knight? Can't they just move out of check by playing Ke1?

Hey Nelson I really like your videos they are fun to watch. When I play chess I just play to have fun lol I don't mind about elo so much as just playing but I still like your videos keep it up.

although, this has been my main counter for the queen's gambit, I still learned lots of different variations and how to deal with them. Thank you!

As a queen's gambit player, I'm happy if my opponents play the Albin (or any other unsound reply to "get me out of prep"). It never works.

I usually prefer the budapest for queens gambit

In the thumbnail, the knight doesn't move like that haha

I hate this video because the Queen's Gambit is my primary opening.
I love this video because I hate playing against the Queen's Gambit.

A knight can move 1 square??? (The thumbnail of this video)

Ah yes, a knight can move diagonally according to the thumbnail. Very accurate, ain’t it?

The information is great but how am I supposed to remember all these exact moves for a game

Very nice video I just wondering a move wasn't covered how about after dxe3 queen check

Can you do this as a chessable course pls 😜
