I gotta say, I used to be quite critical of you when you'd lose on stream or have a bit of arrogance and seem a bit hypocritical especially when it came to pre moving when seconds on the clock in speed chess games. Of course you are an incredible chess player and one of the best of all time especially in the blitz portion. But results were always a telling factor and you were never top 5 or a classical powerhouse – relatively speaking of course. To us mere mortals you are incredible, not to undermine you. My point is, it's refreshing to see a more humble side to you even in defeat. I understand competitive nature can make people bitter when losing especially when the defeat is still raw. I do think you've shown a lot of growth as a person and content creator.

I love to see king's gambit on this level. Thank you for playing my favorite opening. Very unfortunate that you lost this game. Anyway you have chosen very popular line (probably main main line?), maybe next time try Bc4 instead of Nf3 (Fischer line). Or after Nf3 g5 you can play d4, then g4, Ne5, Qh4+, g3 etc (there is a funny line).

Magnus Carlsen has stated many years ago that he finds this opening easy to play against. His coach Peter Heine Nielsen has also said that he believes its the worst opening you could play with white
