The FIDE Candidates is the biggest classical chess tournament of the year! Hikaru, Pragg, Caruana, Nepomniachtchi, and more will fight in a double round-robin for the right to challenge Ding Liren in the 2024 World Chess Championship, and for their share of the €500,000 prize fund.

Great commentary but did Danny really have to gatecrash the big finale after not featuring at all previously?! Who knows regarding other people's availability, of course, and maybe he had to step in… I hope that was the case. It was a shame not to have Leko or Polgar adding their elite-level GM skill both to the commentary and the discussions with Magnus. Danya is also excellent as the host.

Actually Nepo is eligible to win candidates matches because of too much love on Abosov gave up without winning Abosov but all players won Abosov easily.
Gukesh [Arjun in Mahabharat] won because Duronaachar here Visvanathan Anand told Pragg [Egalivan in Mahabharat] don't play like in Fide world cup and also ordered Pragg to lose against Gukesh because Pragg is lower caste

The Fabi Nepo game was the most exciting one I've ever seen. Too bad it ended in a draw and what a pity for Fabi who had found so many incredibly difficult moves under time pressure to not be able to eventually convert. Should he have taken more time on move 41?
