It's over. Ding's nerves have gotten the better of him. Nepo wins. It was a good run tho.

we understand why king magnus didnt wanna play with these amatures.

One of the best world champion title matches I've ever seen. Emotional rollercoaster. I'm sure Ding still didn't mentally concede and will strike back.
Btw amazing bluff by Ian with the perpetual.

If you’re following this and find it boring then chess is not for you. This is the most epic world championship.

Turning point for Ding. Ding should have won this game…if you don't win games you should win, you can't be world champ. Think Ding out thinks himself in certain positions because he's just too cautious of not losing…which isn't a winning strategy for any chess player.

Look at dickhead Ian shaking his head during the press conference while Ding was talking. He should've lost this game AND game 7. Very unfortunate for Ding

sometimes a missed win can be more demoralizing than an outright loss.

I think Ding is still feeling that gut-renching Game 7 loss.. I think the flood gates may have opened for Nepo especially with the White pieces next game…

so basically Ding throw away the whole game by just not taking the rook on move 32. How can one of the top chess players in the world not see that taking the rook is winning when he has more than a enough time to calculate that a perpetual check is not possible?

Ding is so likeable. I went into this game fully supporting Nepo but I am more 50/50 now. I think both players will be fantastic champions once this one of a kind world championship concludes.

Anish Giri was awesome Wish him best for tournaments , I am a new big fan

Open fight. Both boxers refuse to play in defense and prefer punching each other aggressively. After 3-4 such rounds, next rounds will proliferate with inaccuracies and empty swings compared with the defensive match, but will be more entertaining to watch.

How many WCC games Anish, Tania and Daniel played? I wonder why they don't invite people who actually played in the WCC and know what it takes to win at the highest level? Magnus, Vishy, Kasparov, Kramnick, Ivanchuk, etc? 🤔

Ding doesn’t deserve the world championship with these many blunders

Somehow it is painful to see when Ding is trying to chose words for his press conference

Can y’all have Anish stuff a sock in it once in a while?

It's honesty hilarious to see a bunch of 400 rated clowns in chat screaming at the second best and the third best chess players in the world just because they have access to a super computer on their mobile phone – and they probably don't even understand why the evaluation bar goes that way

Ding's reply is short and sweet : "I don't know." "Can't remember." "No. I am not sure.."
    😂

Chess is pathetic honestly. What's the point. A computer will beat an infinite number of these guys. Imagine spending your life on something so useless that a machine can do better than you.

As a Chinese, I am proud of Ding, in last 2 games against Nepo with one loss and one draw, both in advantageous situation. It is really a pity. I hope he will not be affected too much and continue to perform well in the next games. BTW, he should manage his time well, otherwise he can't be excellent. Anyway so exciting games between two super GMs!

F everything I want the Nicki Minaj timestamp

I tried to watch this game out in the sun. It wasn't possible because I couldn't see the black pieces standing on the black squares. Maybe you could hire someone who has studied user interfaces in computer science and knows that you have to have a larger contrast between foreground and background. Also that live board is too small to watch on a mobile phone screen if you haven't perfect vision.

It's good to see Nepo Ding blunderfest, chess draw death delayed.
But games are show HOW MUCH better than top2 and top3 Carlsen is.

PLEASE put the board up when they’re walking through lines at the press conference!!!!!!

The post match interviews are terrible. The host sounds always judgemental of the answers given by her guests. Journalists questions are boring, repetitive and disrespectful at times. And why the hell can't they hire interpreters to put the players at ease (especially Ding that has troubles with the English)?

Nepo has the interesting minds but Ding is confident and speed but Nepo sometimes find out the blunders and mistakes

    yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss nepomniachtchiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
    🤣

BORING COMMIES! ONE IS SCARED AND THE OTHER IS GLAD OF IT!

I feel like Ding needs to hit the weights and drink some mass shakes to reach his final form.

I suspect Magnus Carlsen would have found most of those computer lines. And Hans Niemann all of them.
