Really good interview with Magnus Carlsen at the end, showing a great state of mind !

Gracious of Magnus to give credit to thr great team of Daniel and Peter. They enhance the experience.

Why Pragg gave up on the 2nd game?
    😮
They looked equal on the pieces… I don't get it 😢

Caruana saying he is excited about playing the next generation is one reason why Fabi will remain near the top. A true competitor.

Can anyone explain me please why did the last game of prag got draw? He had things in the game.. what rule am I missing?
Beginner player asking to expert spectators

In future ,whether prag can surpass vishy ?

Pragna is not done yet. Once this guy turn 20s or something. He will be unstoppable. He will completely develop his mind. Anyways.. congrats the GOAT Magnus

    there's IM, there's GM, there's Magnus Carlsen

This game just reminds me of Nola vs alcaraz

So India landed on the Moon in the same day that Prag almost won this chess Championship. (Bear in mind I'm talking with respect to India's time zone/date, not America's.) Too bad lightning didn't strike twice.

Pragg is not mature enough to match the experience of Magnus! He will get better over time.

Brilliant commentary. So insightful. Thank you so much for the coverage of this tournament

David Howell isn`t allowed to comment anymore after his very embarrassing bromance moment with Magnus 🙂

I have become a bigger fan of chess because of Pragg, Nihal, Gukesh, and Erigaisi. They are talented, charismatic, and likable.

I understand the choice to have a close up on the board as time scramble comes, but someone needs to remind the editor that we're watching chess here, and covering 9 f** squares with the name band is ridiculous.

Is it just me or Magnus Carlsen looks a chess world version of Heath Ledger 🤫

I started playing chess three decades ago and i remember i was eager to play the sicilian with black (especially the Svesnikov). Unfortunately, all those woodpushers inevitably went for the Alapin…and they crushed my soul so badly that i started to push the c-pawn just one square up. The C-K served me so well that i never played the sicilian again (except one time, because i was sure my opponent wasn't going to play the Alapin!)

They usually scan the chairs in advance for bugs. But at 14:45 someone brings in a different chair which is not scanned for bugs. And a lot of other people came in and could have planted a bug. Security is still poor in chess. So far that's not a problem, as there don't appear to be a lot of cheaters in chess. But in 20 years, there will be more cheaters because cheating will become so easy.

Magnus was great, esp defending during stress period. Well played pragg.

Big minus goes to Dani becouse didnt alow gm Leko to said what he want on the end…..over all great tournamnet with great comentary team exept off this mistake Dani make on the end….he must alow GM Leko to said final word

Maybe someone would have requested and INDIANs are kind big hearted

Did the guy on the left had a splif before Magnus gave interview, his face turned in to puppy dog while Magnus was talking.

I absolutely love the chat after the match between players.
I think it’s such a great act of sportsmanship. Brilliant.

Amazing Finals. Such a phenomenal run by Pragg, Magnus completing his successes with the World Cup win. The absolute best World Cup I've seen. Well done, understatedly, all around for Magnus, Pragg, Fabi and Nijat.

Thanks guys! That was some great coverage!
Listen to Magnus: FIDE WORLD CUP 2.0, coming soon! lol

I have become a huge Magnus fan this last decade. Thanks for the killer games Carlsen. You passed through some fire in this tournament. A pleasure watching you + or – these past few weeks. Well done to all the players. Awesome commentary by all the commentators. This is truly a golden age of chess.

What a game Pragynand played. In the end, it was time pressure for Pragya. Magnus always kept time in his hand in crucial last moves. This is experience.

Can someone please explain, why did pragg gave up or not continues till mate?

Pragg is truly one of the chess players of the world

Why do they call him a grandmaster. Shouldn’t he be called super grandmaster
