Withdrawing at 5/5 is about the only path for Alireza that doesn't harm his reputation permanently at this point. Maybe if he went on to win the candidates tournament it might work for him in the long run but that is even less likely than him withdrawing, TBH.

I am watching this to see how Alireza is going to win this time. Is it by an opponent resigning in a winning position or by an opponent trading a hook for a knight? Maybe they sacrifice the queen in move 3, who knows?
