2881 is the highest elo ever achieved?
Honestly they should extend the ELO system downward. The upside of having a lower limit is that people who play very poorly don't feel as bad about their ELO.
The downside, however, is that people who's "true" ELO is -500 will end up with 90% loss rate getting destroyed by 100-rated players. It would be much more compassionate to match people against someone at their own skill level and let them see what works and what doesn't and win a lot of their games than force people who can't beat Martin to play with the people in this video.
Maybe it's because I'm bad at chess, but I find these videos both entertaining and informative. This is the best series ever.

I've seen far too many of these stalemates here and they've made me paranoid. Nowadays I tend to promote to a rook in these types of positions just to avoid embarrassment. Certainly never multiple queens.
