Man, a lot of empathy for Gotham for me. He’s got the skills, but the mental side just isn’t there to push him over the top OTB. But thats why he should be (and is as he has stated) so proud of things like his book. He can still help others and make an impact on the chess community even if he never attempts to be a GM again. But he has the straight up skills to do it, and I hope he at least knows that, even if it can be a battle for him mentally. Anxiety is a real bitch.

Your first game is the reason I absolute hate 3 min and 1 min games. I stay with the 5-10 min ranges. I hate losing or winning on time, but I understand that’s part of the game.
