at 0.55 what if white plays Queen to A4? Comes with check and you can pick up the bishop on B4

and He can save this game someHao 🤭

    As usual overrated Indian."Prag&Gukesh🤡"

Youth vs experienced player plays. Agadamtor be like "sometimes youth wins sometimes experienced played wins" 🤣

Love this game. Every move by Gukesh was easy to follow and seemed obvious and yet nothing could be done about it. Understated brilliancy.

Gukesh climbing up the blacklist is some NFS MW stuff

Gukesh playing in the style of Magnus, slowly but surely grinding onto his opponents

It's crazy that India now has 3 baby super GMs (17-19 years old) and another one Nihal also so close to 2700.

Gukesh had an amazing opening attack IMO. Hao's left flank was devastated by the opening of the middle game.

Why do this guy ask for donation???? A new way of begging????

How on earth agadmator didnt coment on what happens on 4:49 if Gukesh advances the f pawn? 😢

Hi Antonio, long time subscriber here. Why do you use the adjective "incredible" during the intro? What is so incredible about a 2700 winning from another 2700? Never happened before? It is your channel so do whatever you please, of course, but you don't need to fall under today's standard of coating content to make it look more than it really is. There are other channels for that. Thank you from a big fan of you .

First, it's good to see Wang Hao back in chess. Secondly, Gukesh is a beast!

I'm so excited for Gukesh Magnus. One is my favourite player and the other is representing my country. I'll be happy either ways

there isnt a single american "american" in the list

You have put the commas in the wrong place 🙂

4 Indians layers in top 16. This is great new for Indian chess .

"Wang Hao," my brother, not the Germanic "Vang Hao."

The notation in the description is wrong btw

Mangesh Vs Gukesh for Quarterfinals 😬😎😅

When are you going to start the william steinitz saga

    👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Gukesh is becoming final boss of chess game..👍

A quick tip to pronounce Wang Hao: Wan(t) How. For your info.

Who all are already qualified for the candidates tournament??

A bit of a random question, but does anyone know why Alireza isn't playing in this tournament?

Hopefully we will see a Magnus vs Gukesh in quarterfinal, that will be one hell of a match but eventually Magnus will prevail as he now looks damn serious adding this world cup title to his collected trophies.

Genuinely think Gukesh has what it takes to go all the way in the world cup

#suggestion I just watched a Vishy interview and he said the best game he ever played in his life was against Kramnik in 2008. Could we get a video on this please? Thanks!

What grinding? 2-0 against Magnoos in the next round and he goes past Nepo. Wins the tournament and he is the new world number 2. Easy! Right😂😂

6:15 – you say rook to c3 to attack the horse – rook to c1 is the move. Comes with check and protects the pawn

I like the layout, it seems to be sharper, but the font for the lettering, is on the small end for me. Don't change it for me, but it is near that reading glasses line.

So people had problems with too many Indians but what about Americans.

Nic (J Bruce Feynman Niccolo P. Bentulan) says:

2nd : Is Vidit the biggest reason India would want classical 9LX?

Vidit beat Sergey Karjakin to get in the 2019 WFRCC quarter-finals. But then…

Wesley So & Fabi expectedly do better in classical than in rapid for both 9LX & chess. Now, I'm not familiar with Vidit but

    – Wesley So does 30% better.
    – Fabi does 40% better.
    – VIDIT DOES 300% BETTER.

LIKE 50% CLASSICAL SCORE BUT 12.5% RAPID SCORE.

    Vidit in 9LX
    – is the top Indian classical player
    – is the worst rapid player among the top 9 of the 2019 WFRCC.
    – in classical ties for 2nd place w/ Fabi & Nepo behind Wesley So.

When is Tata Steel Classical Chess960 ? It should be a knockout where Vidit is seeded into the quarter-finals. It can be 60min, not 120min.

P.s. In the 2019 WFRCC, wesley so beat magnus in 3x classical in a row!

Question : When was the last time this happened in chess that someone lost 3x classical in a row in the finals of a FIDE or PCA WCC (or finals of knockouts candidates or semi-finals of a knockout WCC) ?

Answer : Vishy Anand beat Alexei Shirov in 2000.

2 whole decades Vishy's record stood – broken only in a variant!
