Guys, its been two weeks without levy milking magnus.
This can't be right,
The end is near
UAE, Emiratis
What a time to follow Chess! ❤ Very very cool.
Emirati/Emirian. You're welcome 😊
Gosh, I love your enthusiasm and how pleasantly contagious it is.
I doubt I'm learning that much from top-level games but I do hope that perhaps osmosis kicks in and I atomize a few tricks 😀
thanks for the great work Levy
Anish steals another pawn
Thanks for these games I don't know what it is but I like see all this chess theory openings even in middle game❤😊
It's so sad to watch Max warmermad loses. He is clutch player
lol, gotham @ 1:21
– historical implications
– insane mistakes and brilliancies combined
– crazy defensive resources
– historical implications
It’s very simple why they hold major chess tournaments in cities that aren’t that big. MONEY! Why do they need a giant venue with seats when you can only watch on a screen?
Gukesh and Pragg's game was a real nail-biter. Excited to see how the tournament ends!
@8:50 Isn't that just the Reti opening?
Yes ukraine wins
Tekken 8 just got released and Levy already not gonna sugarcoat it 17:29
Who did it?
Alireza Firouzja sacrifices, THE ADVANTAGE!!
Why are people in the comments so fucking mean, i get the Magnus jokes at times but sometimes you guys are straight up harras Levy and apparently now his editor, Let's do better people. As always thanks for the recap Levy!
umm, at 11:34, did gukesh miss a fork with the b(to b4) pawn, the bishop and rook?
If I'm not mistaken Hans is having a quite weird tournament I wish he does it better
From the United Arab Emirates: "Emirati."
So YouTube is allowing video replies to comments now why?
And after this round, everyone was tied for first place. THEY ALL DREW!
please start a series of new prodigies from world. Leonid ivanovic from serbia is youngest player to beat im.
i feel so bad for max. he is literally destroying and drawing the best in the world and always chokes in the end
Cause they've been playing them in holiday destinations? Just a wild uniformed guess
The word for what you call someone from a particular place is a demonym. The demonym of UAE is Emirati according to Wikipedia.
that uae one may be middle easten guys
Someone from the emirate is a emaratie
Yeah, someone from the UAE is an Emirati… well, when you refer to any citizens. People born there who aren't citizens aren't technically Emiratis… and there are plenty.
According to a UAE government webpage that Google turned up you're absolutely right, Emirati.
The Wei Yi plays is far better than the way yee play
To answer the question at 21:00, someone from the UAE is an 'Emirati'
Accidental three move repetition is total shit. That kinda thing can't be what they had in mind when they made the rule.
20:56 If someone is from a Middle East country like The UAE or Bahrain or Qatar etc. they are called Arabs
Gothamchess, big cities are not the best place for top chess, but rather quiet places with clean air, just like Wijk aan Zee at the dutch coast. And here is why: Research from 2023 by the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in Netherlands used chess engine Stockfish to analyse moves while monitoring levels of air quality. It found that a small increase in fine particulate matter in the air increased the likelihood of error by 2.1%, and the severity of those errors rose 10.8%.
get outta here has turned into asmr at this point, against my will i must add
click bait
11:01 Levy really knows how to make the hardcore anime fans enjoy this content.
Guys I think there might’ve been historical implications
Someone from the UAE is indeed called an Emirati
fun fact: there are 3 people still undefeated in TATA steal: Vidit, Pragg and Dardha
Hey stranger that is listen to daily. Thank for filling in the background noise while i clean/ play Pokemon/ long road trios. With that being said , i appreciate all content. Even those old 1.5 videos !
No offense, these recaps are terrible. I've usually found your recaps entertaining but… I get that you try to cover 10 games, but why? You need to be better than this, we don't even understand the intricacies of any game. Just random words and piece shifting stands in the end. It seems like your objective is only to get this video out and not make people understand the brilliance of these games. If this is gonna be a pin of shame, then bring it on! This is only my honest opinion. Don't wanna compare you to agadmator, but I wanna see you do better.

What a draw by Gukesh. Anish Giri would be proud
I use levys chess videos to fall help me fall asleep respectfully.
The tournament is held in Wijk because the steel company that sponsors it (originally Hoogoven, and then Tata Steel) are based in Wijk. It was originally created to to give something back to the community and the whole town buys into it. There were many amateur tournaments playing alongside the main tournaments, and when I played there in the 80s the competitors in these tournaments stayed with families in the town. I assume the same is true today.
They're called Emiratis
Just here to say let's get a world wide tournament in Rotterdam!!!
1:20 : there's too much historical explications
