I bought a ticket and I was at the venue! It’s a disgrace how Canada organized this event!!! They have 3 window times where people that bought ticket can see players live, not the full session.Each ticket holder can only see one time slot the players : 2:20, 4:40 or 6:45. So you go for 2 hours and see the games and return to fan zone to watch them on TV. If games finish early like today, the last time slot ticket holders that waited in fanzone until 6:45 will not see any live games. Today I only saw Nepo vs Alireza for the last 10 minutes and then game ended. It’s a shame and a disgrace how Canada showed disrespect to the fans, this not being clearly written on tickets or FIDE website.Lot of fans were disappointed as well as they didn’t know about this masquerade. Not to mention that the building is old and smells nasty. Big disgrace Canada and FIDE! You don’t deserve this tournament here.
I just have no idea why such an intense and interesting tournament is not being broadcasted on TVs like Olympics or whatever.
