I have never played chess and know nothing about it but want to learn in 2024. What is a minimum score that will most likely mean I can crush all of my friends who play (none are competitors just strictly recreational) and wipe the smug smiles of their faces for thinking they are too smart as I bring tears to their eyes as I hold their women close upon victory? I also want to have fun! I am average smart and a slow learner. lol

How do I check my winrate with certain moves
I went from 500 to 2000 in 5 months and these tips are pretty useful. Do a lot of puzzles and play basic opening and focus on not blundering ur pieces
I reached 1700 in less than a year
I went to 200 to 1200 in 2 months. Ive been stuck at 1200 for 2 months

I think you should revert to the jobava london, it gave me a 70% winrate at 1800 level, and I still use it in 2000 rating.
in chess, it is expected that you lose a lot of games before you get good at it
