I feel like a lot was missed in the blitz format with the 500 and 1300, no real endgames due to time, felt like only half a lesson was possible. But the 1900 game was perfect in blitz! It felt like a complete game with thought processes for each phase. Loved it. Idk, I watched this and chess steps, and they made me want either more Win at Chess or longer low-elo games. I like the idea of hearing how one should think at each phase of the game given their elo, and what kind of thinking they could gradually outgrow.
The thing about us in the triple digit Elo’s is I usually play gambits that I don’t understand, I understand what squares I need to be on but idk which piece needs to be there, and I don’t wanna play a half hour of chess.

Quick question back to basics. How the ELO calculated is? How could I know how many points I get when I win? Or how many I lose when I lose a game?
Haven't watched all of the video yet, but could you play these same players properly? It may help to more accuratley compare the levels

Honestly the 500 was cracked.
I like the series but I do miss how to win at chess with 10min games ,that time controll just represent the lower elo range mucht better than blitz I feel like, perhabs put in on gotham too if it is not suitable for the main cannel anymore
The last game was like an anime where the stronger opponent respects the protagonist strength and starts to take the fight seriously
I love these kinds of videos I was stuck at 450 ELO for weeks then I watched a couple Gotham chess videos and instantly got up to 630 within a week I will always be a supporter of Gotham Chess

i was 300 a week ago, but i learned how to play better(because of gotham), im 500 now, and the games i play, stockfish says im 1081
