Man, if I were rich, I'd gladly pay you for one-on-one coaching with my son, who by. the way only knows king and queen pieces.
Very good teaching.
This video has thought me a lot, just amazing 👏👏👏
Levy, you are a chess beast. I love your videos. The way you instruct is uniquely enlightening, refreshing and inspiring. Thanks for it.
Hi Levy , even 1000s are very good now .
2:12 That whole explanation was absolutely AMAZING, the thought process and everything was mind-blowing. I couldn't have seen that ever.
Thank you
Well the theory isn't hard. I mean, if you don't understand the theory behind it: what game did you think you were playing? Putting it in practice however… Lol.
Gotham…this video is simply beautiful. Best video ever! We love you bro.
im at 200 lmao
the clap to queue the start of the video is like on some shazam level shit
I am 1200 and want to challenge a 1500 rated player. Anyone here wanna play?
@3:00 would whites best bet here, after black takes the knight with the bishop, be to move their rook, to prevent the possibility of the fork?
Sir my rating is 1107 and this is my game: [Event "blitz"]
[Date "2022.02.13"]
[Round "1"]
[White "Aman(1107)"]
[Black "Vladmun(1299)"]
[Result "1-0"]
[TimeControl "5/2"]

21. Rxf7+ Kg8 22. Rg1+ 1-0 can you please make a video on my game
That's exactly what I do when I approach a girl.
❤️💯👌🏼😎
This video was helpful thankyou. I like to think I'm decent at chess. I'm rated about 1300 at blitz. I would recommend the Magnus trainer app. That was very helpful the app helped me with tactics. I would also recommend the book Bobby Fischer teaches chess. That book helped me with tactics and back rank mates.
"And the game is over" – Maybe for a player like Levy……
Me when i‘m calculating: if i do this he does that and i do that. But what if he does that? Eh, it’ll be fiiine
29:09 you ended up wining a rook for a knight 😀
8:25 levy makes it sound taking with the king is the worst move ever.
Another verry good video for me. 🙂
Bruh, seriously, after this video I got sooooo much better at calculating, im currently 600 rated. I mean it, I just started doing plays that look very smart for me. Just keeping this checklist in mind:
1 – what are his intentions?
2 – do I have any checks?
3 – do I have any captures?
Just asking these makes me create so many plans
Are you Harry Potter?
I be ready to whoop somebody ass in a game of Rapid, after I get done watching ur videos 😂😂😂
Thank you so much your videos are very helpful
Were lucky we can see all of that in free
its the time that pressures me so i dont think it through
Chess is the game gotham deserves
Love this guy. His efforts to help newbies are genuine and valuable. Much appreciated.
Thanks for making this video , found it very helpful😊❤
My brain 🧠 hurts 😫
For new players a good rule of thumb is to win the middle. It also makes it harder for other person to calculate and blocks a lot of quick wins.
4:21
what if white move bishop to d2?
what is the checklist again?
-checks
-captures
-attacks
-forcing moves
-what is defending what
-what are the weaknessess
-before checking what you can do try to see what they can do to you?
is there any more maybe? thank youuuu Gotham!
how do you get the arrows? they would help tons with planing.
Ahauuq

Booom! Thanks man i really enjoyed and learnt alot
*Everything looks great, like you're at bufet
'ok, you can't really go wrong'
…
'but they he played this'
13:56 – can somebody explain to me what I'm missing? What if Qe8, Kh7 – white queen defends the rook. If Be4, Re8, Bf4, Re1 I just Lose a rook. Isn't it better for white if played correctly?(Given that we follow continue with the idea and I don't really see what else to do)I'm pretty new to the game, so I assume I just don't understand something
how many move that we can say it opening move?
Guys I am currently 600 Rn. Cant devote time to study. If I have full time to play starting on 3rd week of may. Can I reach 1000 by december?
One of the issues with spending time trying to calculate your opponents best moves is that at low ratings they probably won't play them
Yes you do prepare … made it to the end …
At 15:24 you mentioned taking the bishop and having checkmate but that’s not right. It should be
1. Nc2+ Kd1 2. Nb4+ Ke1 3. Nxd3#
"At 670 there's no such thing as a Sicilian defence" lol
This might be my favorite chess video of all time. Thank you for this. Every beginner that wants to take their game to the next level needs to watch this
I want to live in Arminia
Omg this video was so helpful, I've been needing this for a year. Thank you for all your chess coaching.
