What country was he from, again? Lying about his experience, not revealing his rating , losing & asking for a rematch brings me back memories of Hostomel Airport and the VDV. They also got demolished. Asked for a rematch and got demolished in Kherson.
He prefers to play slower games. When he has plenty of time to think then his true talent will show.
some people feel good for setting themselves up as the underdog then performing out of their expected level. They like to surpass expectations and they would rather lie to achieve it than to be honest and have to work hard to surpass the expectations. Real simple little creature right there

"Where are you from?" Eh . . I'm Russian – but his accent gave him away. Got annoyed when he started losing. Dutch are known for their arrogance. My father was Dutch. Don't play him again. I'm always astonished seeing that wherever Anna goes (Sweden, France, Netherlands, USA) there are always guys who pretend they aren't good or refuse to give their ratings before playing her. I prefer to see people who respect her by being truthful, even when they end up being trash talkers (hi Tani!)

Definitely dont like this guy at all. He lied atleast 5 times & was way too angry about losing
bro had three minutes but had to constantly answer incessant questions. It was clear he just wanted to play a game.
He was ready for that next game. I don’t think he’s a 2200, but easily 1500-1700 or so? It wasn’t the most complicated position so it’s really hard to pin it down, but he was wasn’t posing problems the way a 2000+ player would.
I’m amazed at how many chess players are OCD. Sometimes I set my pieces up as messy as I can make them just to see who straightens out my side of the board. 😂😂😂
