The smile at the very very end was Huge!!! πŸ™‚

Love the angelic, beautiful, toothy smile πŸ˜ƒ

200$ for this is outrageous. I think best players should get paid! From my taxes i dont care.
    its chess!
I dont even know how good "under 2200 elo" is, but i imagine its close to the elite. best player 2,882 elo?
so perhaps in a tournament like this: Winner gets 100k, 5th place 20k
thats not a lot and easy to get i would guess.
200 bucks doesnt even pay your flight.

I never thought I'd get so happy listening to Pia cheering on and getting excited about Anna's endgame play… I want a cheerleader like that in my life πŸ™‚

I am a fan. LOL Congratulations sincerely. My kids 12, 10 and 8 are just learning chess and for the limit time I am ahead in wins BUT someday they overtake papa and it will be my great pleasure.

What I think a pretty Swedish girl should look like.

If one of your opponents does not wish to be filmed, why not film from over his or her shoulder, or at an angle? That way you get the footage and the person retains their privacy.

anna, you now have an article in the GERMAN wikipedia. if found it pleasant to write.

so pleased for you , glad to have watched your journey

Anna, over 10 years ago I lost my online chess partner (passed away) and had lost the joy of playing. But from watching your journey during the Rilton Cup (and your mom's commentating), you've inspired me to play chess again. I smiled on the video when you said you are back after 3 years to 2100. I too, am back. That is, to playing online again with the goal of just improving my game. I feel like my chess partner is looking down smiling at me that I've found the joy again.

All this makes me feel that I wish I had taken up the game as a youngster. Now that I'm an oldster, I still haven't taken it up. I'm loving the strategies.
    Although, it's all 'Swedish' to me . . . ☹

Love watching Anna play, she's soo happy playing. Loved how both her Grandmaster parents were there for her. Lovely to get a family pic after she gets 5th place.

Never played before… but you make this fun and interesting to learn..

Congrats Anna! so happy you won. You have a winning smile too and you are so upbeat.

AMAZING. And you are smily as your mother….Super . Loved it ! I am 800 and learning !

Egg and beans? I've never heard of that breakfast. Congrats on your top 5
Edit: wow i learned so much just listening to your thought process on your moves

These videos are on wholesome overload. The enthusiasm, the smiles, the closeness of the family…this is what YouTube was created for. Thank you for sharing your journey πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

Well done! Also what you do is great for chess and for tournaments like this, most everyone involved realises this, the very best move with the times!

Anna. Congratulations on your fabulous win! Also, you won me! I happened upon your channel a couple of days ago. For reasons unknown I felt compelled to watch. I’m not a player at all, chess is difficult and I rarely win, so I haven’t played in many years. But watching you play and listening to your explanations of the games was compelling. It’s your excitement and love of the game that moved me. It doesn’t hurt that your chess pedigree is impressive with mom and pop being grandmasters. To make this short, I’m inspired to start playing again at age 64. Wish me luck! πŸ€

i have played chess twice. lost the first, won the second. that game should be played in isolation.

the two next to her may have not even bothered playing.

here is my view. I was dragged up on the streets. anna is being played. lets see what happens if she plays in isolation. I may be wrong, but i would just like to see it.

everyone seems to be interested in her game. i would have her playing away from eyes.

Great job Anna. You're delightful and very talented.

200 dollars hahaha me gusta tu sencillez, habla bien de tus padres, congrats!!

Grande Anna, te conocΓ a raΓz del podcast y se ve que eres una muy buena persona y qje trasmite muy buena vibra

Congratulations from a very humble 1525 player..
I love Chess but have been stuck between 1500-1550 for 30+ years. Such a treat for me to observe such players. Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations Anna, and your mom is the best!

It seems that the only thing defeating Anna is Anna I truly believe she has the capacity to kick anyone's are arse and become the worlds number one chess player.

1st time here…Anna is uplifting in so many ways!!! Bravoβ™Ÿ
