Grats! Your mom is the Grande Dame of chess casting. Truly the cat's pajamas.

Kinda bummed out by the chess community's apparent proclivity to use clickbait / misleading titles.

Well deserved. It's always a pleasure following your blog and sharing your enthusiasm for a game, which has baffled me for the past 65 years.

You're a night owl, eh? The world is built for frickin morning people, it sucks.

5th place out of that mean people is definitely an amazing achievement

You're super cute generally, but even more this time haha. I found your channel 2 or 3 days and 4 videos ago, and you've already made me realize how interesting and fun chess can be. The Queen's Gambit made me curious, but you've made me want to play. Congrats on your 5th place and keep doing what you do! I think you're definitely doing a good job promoting chess!

18:05 Your beaming smile and the pride on the face of your mom are truly priceless!!
    Congratulations, Anna! ☺

Your mornings sound like my mornings lol

I always sort of feel like I’m watching a young spy learning how to navigate life 😂😊. Such a great role model, my kids are learning chess and my son thinks you are Wonder Woman. Just kickin’ tail, but super calm haha. They are both learning strategy through you.

She likes the attention she gets from men.

Wauw it's amazing to see how proud your parents are!

How do you keep losing in a healthy perspective? Ego can be such a demoralizing emotion.

Congratulations, Anna! I love watching your filled with joy and enthusiasm games. You are an inspiration!

That's good to see. Anna is very excited and personable. I won two tournaments in a year but they were not strong. I had 'come back' into chess. The way, partly, I did it, was to not think about even the score (in the second one). I didn't study any openings much. I just thought of myself as I started as say Capablanca and then as things went on more as an Alekhine or a Rubinstein then more or a Tal or a mix of…The trouble with chess is the difficulty concentrating for long times, with so many moves. Great game by Anna! Unfortunate for her opponent.

I love how a series of moves that to me appear so complex it would take me an hour to understand why the players made each one, becomes “takes, takes, takes” in her explanation.

God, why didn’t you give me just a little more brainpower damnit.

Well done Anna, great fun and great chess, looking forward to future games, keep on smiling, my best wishes.

Ever heard of this thing called an alarm clock anna ⏰..?

Just watching you play and explain your thought process has made my game so much better. It's like you've unlocked pathways in my mind to see moves that i wouldn't even consider before, both on my side of the board and my opponents. Thank you for uploading these vids.

Congrats Anna, you did brilliantly ❤ 7of9 😂 you don't need to get a cat suit

Anna, I am going to crack the absolute pig of a piece of music which I am practising on my txistu, and you are going to win your next tournament! You can do it! We're all behind you 🙂

Pia can hardly contain her pride! I miss my mom!

Congratulations!!! I enjoy your videos a lot although you sometimes play incomprehensible moves that, perhaps, may be caused by your womanhood. Did you ever think of that? The influence of hormones on chess is a completely uncharted territory but hard data shows there must be something there. Such influences are recognized and well-known in management and sociology theory. Just read Deborah Tannen and you will learn a lot about the different ways men and women react to things.

Hi Anna, congratulations. I love watching how you graciously interact while genuinely enjoying yourself, win or lose. Your love for chess and your parents is wonderful to see.

Congratz👍Magnus would be proud of you💪btw, you are very pretty, just saying🤗

the moment ı realize ı am losing a chess game ı punch or hit my opponent with the chess board in the face ı guess that is my achilles heel

if your not a morning person as I am , but when i needed to be i made afew changes for that specific day, i went o be as normal but set the alarm earlier, try 3 days an then go to 2 and afte r that you will wake up before the alarm goes off

Congrats Anna. A view days ago I 'discovered' your chess video's. I like them. So Anna, If you had chosen for a draw against the Dutch guy instead of trying to win, what would then be the end result for you? Better than 5, right?

Photographer: "Would you like to review this photo?"
Anna: "… no thank you, I am the definition of photogenic."
