I wish i was 20 years older to see the evolution of chess computers

Why would you give them a limited amount of time? Surely you want as perfect chess as possible?

The fact that stockfish 15 won with a KINGS GAMBIT against literally the best chess engine in the world inspires me to learns the theory.

Bro made 2 computers playing CHESS against each other a fun and intresting battle somehow with a lot of personality in computers just spitting out algebraic chess notations

Congrats on 4M my guy what a long way we’ve passed passed together as Gotham community, all the best and see you at 5M!🎉

    Me: Is bored.
Levy: I upload high quality content that lasts 30 minute each video. I also upload very often.
    me: :O

When I sacrifice(also called blundering) me resigns when stock fish sacrifices a piece opponent resigns

Its literally 1 am in Vietnam when this vid came out

I like how you say "which is the best move" as if there's any way to determine that outside of what stockfish 16 itself decides to play.

This is giving me deja vu. I remember watching Levy right when I got into chess after the Queens Gambit and he was just starting to grow and had a few videos of alpha zero vs stockfish.

Chat gpt: look at what they need to mimic a fraction of my power
    Sacrifices king

I would rate Levis narrating of the rook sacrifice a solid 9/10, it was perfectly leveled with the sacrifice itself, considering it is stockfish 16 even though it is 2 rooks for a bishop and a knight. Yet it was still powerful and charismatic as usual. Good job on that one Levi, good job.

In future maybe i really want to see both magnus and hikaru vs chat gpt 🤣🤣🤣

You totally overlooked a potential Nick/Nate Diaz Stockton slapdown comment

Given that a chessbot can play like, a million times a day, can't you just train it to beat Martin like, eleventy billion times until it reaches ELO of 10,000? Or is there a point where you gain literally 0 ELO for a win?

you should of played stockfish 16 as black aswell for evens sake

So SF16 only won when playing white and SF15 was forced to play subpar openings (Caro!?!?). Is that really an achievement?

Don't you think Stockfish 15 and 16 are made out of the same algorithms, therefore version #16 knowing all about version #15 and winning any chess game of older versions? Simple question…

My only play against Stockfish is still the EMP Gambit.

    Stockfish vs Stockfish
    Levy: "And Stockfish wins"

Why the kings gambit is the best opening

bro how does the engine even get better is it some extra line of programming or is it learning from grandmaster games like what is happening here

So basically both stockfish 15 and stockfish 16 are unstoppable with white

The last game looks like a game from the 19th century, beautiful!

@GothamChess on 14:20 why is it important for white pieces stand on dark squares?

If stockfish won, but stockfish lost… did stockfish really win?

Damn when he said "i don't belive in video editing". I've been thinking to myself so much how Gothamchess is outstandingly entertaining, but it's even crazier now, because now im aware he does that without the classic flashy youtube edits, and attention grabbing yelling. Okay the ROOK is fine, but he understands he gotta do it sparingly for it to be cool

Stockfish won't be the strongest for long, trust me

As Ludwig would say: "Bigger number, better chess bot."

Looking forward to its release. Finally a worthy challenge

What ever happened to AlphaZero, did Google shelve the project?

Levi says “best move” as if it’s not the engines playing the game that say so 😂😂

    No cow opening? Failed experiment!

Seriously though, i could watch stockfish play a variety of openings to see which ones are the strongest/weakest. Could be a good learning opportunity.
