0:44 He had a golden opportunity to say "he arroved precisely when he meant to." Opportunity: Missed.

The right side of the banner looks like side-by-side photos from the pre-match staredown with Tal whispering advice on the opening to Pragg.

@9.29 now, When I was watching live, my mind was on rook b7 instead of b1. It was a winning move to because to save the knight, black would have gone rook d4 and in that case, prag could have another pawn advantage on c6 pawn.

Can anyone think of a better move then b1 for white rook??

I think Magnus will open with London to continue the trend, or catalan as his secret weapon in wc preparation, or maybe ruy lopez as his favorite. If i have to choose i prefer him to play catalan, always be a delight to see Magnus play that opening

Waiting for upload this match. Wish fullfil. Thanks a lot.

    Magnus: Rxe2
    Pragg: reaches for handshake
    Antonio: Hello everyone!

Magnus gets to train against the engine over and over, and the best he can find at that, more over Magnus gets to play against other players who face the engines and play against them who come from a different perspective, from what they learned from the engines. Morphy played against those other guys. However played with incredible accuracy. So objectively speaking we have to say that Morphy was the goat. That we know of…

at 7:30 – I prefer Rook to A7 rather than B8 – showing that white Bishop to A3 was a mistake and should have instead been placed on E3 to thwart Rook to A7 – now Bishop to C5 is pointless since Bishop at D6 captures it – and everything for black is covered nicely – white will not sacrifice the Bishop at F3 capturing the Pawn at B7 – no one mentioned this line of the numerous lines suggested

From interview, Magnus had not been in good condition, he had food poisoning, he sound and look really unwell in the interview, i hope he will be okay tomorrow.

Yes, MAGNUS IS. Prag is ranked 29, Magnus was #4 at 18 and within a year was #1 and the youngest ever for 2800, and he's not a product of India's national program that has kids playing all day by age 3. Let's see him win something first before we annoint him. Gukesh is younger, better, higher ranked and higher FIDE.

Magnus draws with black, wins with white. That's his strategy.
Hoping magnus will blunder, really want Praggnananda to win.

Wow! That was tense up until the end. Can't wait for Game 2. Pragg Vs. Magnus is absolute cinema

prag could be the chosen one over anand, who cares at this point, both are great x)

I first was a bit disappointed when the game had gone on 40 minutes before I noticed, but it was quite nice. I followed from move one with 1.25 speed and skipped over commentary breaks. In the end I only saw the conclusion one minute behind the live stream

I watch the whole video without understanding even a single move.๐Ÿ˜‚

Prag shows the mind strength and power of indians ๐Ÿ’ช

"I'll just show you because it is really fun"
Hangs rook while explaining engine line.

JEBICA, SO LONG.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ CARLSON ? PUSHI GURAZ

There was no point in watching this……………………………………………….

Late one night at one of his venues, Magnus played the janitor who had the black pieces and lost.

Next candidates shall be amazing … I wouldn't be surprised if Magnus decides to enter and face Abasov and Prag again.

I'd love to see the colours of the board slightly changing between what happens and what could have happened, like in other chess videos, makes it easier to follow, especially when you had a few beers without your friends at the bar or the library and just wanna enjoy the showโค

WORLD CLASS, Magnus, Pragg and of course our host here. Nobody is bringing chess to life for so many people. Thanks so much for your fantastic work! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Too much variations you mix in, cut it a bit short and show the game that was played.

Imagine if Pragg wins and Then Magnus Decides to Play in Candidates !

    Agadmator simping
"Magnus has a ritual: sets every piece (all players do it) and writes everything down" (mandatory)

When two superpower collides never know what will be the outcome ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Magnus can throw anyone off of their Preparations…

So I'm rooting for Pragg but I know the result already.

"When you are this good, then this is basically a draw by insufficient material."
Maybe 10 years later top engines will draw their game before the first move is played because there are nothing more to be done.

In the line you go down right at 9:59, why wouldn't the black rook take the white rook?
