#suggestion Pragg vs Tabatabaei, Asian Games Team played today. Early knight sacrifice for two pawns, then amazing positional play by Pragg. Please show this game agad!! Pragg jumped to #13 in the world

What a great player is Hari Ravia! Or is it Ravi Haria? 😂
Interestingly both Hari and Ravi are usual names in India

I don’t think they would let me play a 2500..nevermind Magnus..anyway Magnus is terrible

Bishop in a box attack W a spanking by Magnus

Has magnus written a book on chess

is that a3 move just to restrict the knight and hence the bishop as the knight was parked on front of it? Magnus basically making the positional imbalances count for everything?

    "Magnus Carlsen Explains Chess #2"
Some six minutes in: "Magnus goes for a YOLO move"…
This actually sums up the zeitgeist of actual chess 😀
Also, the a3 move by Magnus is obviously a preparation for b4, the strongest move in chess almost always

Magnus gave two chances 😂 by thinking too deep

My library was quite empty today, so I went to the bar

One bad piece that also Against "The Magnus Carlsen" is too much material down.

Giving up the dark squared bishop in the French is a no-no

The opponent for Magnus… his name is Hari??

    00:15 Hari Ravia 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It hilarious to listen magnuses opponent's name Hari ravia😂😂

It's a pleasure to watch these recaps from comrade Agad here from heaven, spasibo. Mikael Tal

He played a3 because I think he knew that his position was winning even if he gave back a few tempi. That's playing with his food. Haha.

Why Magnus played A3 is pretty obvious.

He is listening to your channel and knows that "B4 is winning". So he just wanted to prevent that… (well it's an idea anyway 😉 )

It will be great if you mention the time control at the begining of every game. Its usually not clear if its clasical, rapid, blitz, etc, and its impotant to know it to understand the moves and the mistakes

6:58 "He plays pawn to a3, and I have no idea why he played pawn to a3."
This is why I watch and listen to The Master.
Not Magnus. … agadmator (Antonio). 🙂 No BS. Instead, honesty and excellent analysis.

Phhtt! I could have done just as well against Magnus as Ravi did…

…and by that, of course, I mean lose badly.

Nic (J Bruce Feynman Niccolo P. Bentulan) says:

3rd : Ok Hans didn't cheat OTB Vs Magnus or anyone.

But nevertheless Magnus thought (still thinks?) Hans did. So hypothetically how could Hans cheat? I mean seriously like realistic methods of course. Don't think of things where Hans bypasses security. (Consider this 'red truth' like in Higurashi/Umineko. Cf the zm0zts meme.)

    3 things

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    Thing 1

    Magnus is discriminatory.

Consider that Hans beat Shak & Magnus, lost to Fabi & Wesley So and drew w/ everyone else.

Hans, Fabi, Wesley So, Chris Bird, Rex Sinquefield are all American. Shak & Magnus are not American.

(I know Magnus implicitly accused Hans right after the loss and then Fabi & Wesley So came only after but at least Shak was before Magnus, but bear with me.)

I'm not anti-American. I'm not saying there was an American conspiracy. I'm saying Magnus THINKS there was. And then Magnus can't explain the way Hans cheated because doing so would expose Magnus as discriminatory.

Magnus is making essentially the same accusation as what Bobby did in the 1962 candidates. But Bobby doesn't need to be afraid to be thought of as discriminatory because everyone already knew that the Soviets were pre-arranging draws (and maybe even decisive games?).

The Higurashi/Umineko solution (again cf the zm0zts meme) is that Hans doesn't bypass security but that Hans is colluding with security!

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    Thing 2

    Magnus is defamatory.

I read on chess stackexchange that moderator Brian Towers says there's a PRACTICAL not just a MORAL reason to not accuse publicly :

The arbiter can watch for FUTURE games.

If you accuse publicly, then the accused, if actually guilty, might stop future cheating and then you ruin your own sting operation before it actually begins (ruined ab initio?).

Hence, Magnus is either defamatory or 'not the sharpest chopstick in the drawer'.

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    Thing 3

    Magnus is defamatory and discriminatory.

Why for the love of God would Hans cheat especially knowing the whole world is watching your every move given your history?

Is Hans like Leopold & Loeb?

Why would Chris Bird help Hans?

Ravi Haria should write next book, how to lock your bishop?

Resignation insufficient pieces to defend against impending Checkmate 😅

Agad are you sure Ravi Hariya is not Indian ….
It's literally the most Indian name I've ever heared.

1st – World Cup Round 2 – Wesley So's girlfriend Carissa Yip as black beats chinese grandmaster xue zhao.

2nd – World Cup Round 1 – Argentina gets zugzwang by Wesley So…

    3rd – Alice Lee beat Wesley So…

…'s girlfriend Carissa Yip in 2023 USCC girls juniors.

    (3 Chinese-descent Americans in 1 sentence. Lol.)

Carissa was underperforming and even lost to a WGM because Carissa was distracted by a secret relationship with Wesley So that started in the 2022 Olympiad.

Notice both of them are defending champions but then underperform in their 1st few OTB tournaments after the Olympiad.

    Carissa Yip

    2021 USCC women's – winner

2022 USCC girls juniors – didn't play but would've easily won if not for playing in 2022 USCC juniors instead

    but then

2023 USCC girls juniors – only 3rd place (should be 2nd minimum)

    Wesley So

    2019 classical WFRCC – winner

    2021 9LX – 2nd place

    2021 USCC – winner

but then even though Wesley So is expected to be 4th minimum in the succeeding events :

    2022 9LX – only 5th place

    2022 USCC – only 5th-6th place

    2022 rapid WFRCC – only 6th place

    But ultimately they bounced back

Carissa Yip – as black beat a GM in the 2023 women's world cup

Wesley So – won 2022 CGC

    #suggestion

WGM Janelle Frayna, the 1st and only Philippine WGM, upset Georgian GM (really GM not just WGM) Bella Khotenashvili at the 2022 world blitz.

    There's a 13-move UNDERPROMOTION puzzle here.

For some reason none of the Philippine channels except Kelvinllovejr even cover this game. LOL. But Janelle did cover the game where e drew against Nemo, so maybe Janelle will cover this game later on.

Later in 2023 Bella had a stupid choice for favourite world champion – Magnus Carlsen over Wesley So & Bobby Fischer.

So good thing Janelle had beaten Bella.

2nd : oh is that the same tournament last year where magnus played a fellow-european fellow-gentile fellow-cheater Sébastien Feller while magnus refused to play hans ? LOL

magnus also played 2 fellow-non-american, fellow-gentile, fellow-cheaters pranav & parham while refusing 2 play hans. LOL. so if you're a gentile non-american, then you're allowed to cheat?

it's no wonder magnus got the norwegian chess federation reprimanded by FIDE the same way iran got reprimanded by FIDE for when alireza, amin, et al resigned against israeli players?
