As Levy stated, he frequently takes players outside their memorized prep by playing less commonly played/obviously less idea moves. Process that for a moment. Magnus INTENTIONALLY PLAYS INACCURACIES because he is that confident that it will cause his opponent to play a worse inaccuracy, mistake, miss, or blunder that will ultimately pay out in his favor. I can't imagine anyone else who has that much confidence in their middle and end game to commit to what is essentially an unorthodox long term gambit.

14:55 Nd5 in game 2 isn't really as impressive as Levy makes it out to be. That kind of knight sacrifice is very common in Open Sicilians. Tal, for example, would sac on d5 and e6 and f5 on the regular and destroy people.
