Simon Williams the most amazing man in chesscom

Am I the only one who had seen Anastacia's Checkmate before?

I think that Kasparov is the best (all time) then, Analtony Karpov, then Magnus

It was like those chess puzzles where you have to sacrifice the most important pieces to win. These are not subtle moves, these are kinda easily detectable fireball moves.

Ginger GM : "hope you enjoyed it !"
Me : "I enjoyed it more than watching Magnus Carlsen playing a game of chess "

Cassel was so beautiful but the last one almost gave me an organism.

Number 4 is neither impressive nor surprising within the context of the whole game. If you watch or read the whole game, you see that black never castled and still had castling rights which makes the move trivial. It's only when the board is presented without context that it's not obvious.

Magnus opponent: hahah I got ur queen
Magnus : I got the game ,ur total net worth ,ur girlfriend…..

Mannnnnnn I can’t believe myself 🤯,I got all right and I’m just 1100 rated , and I’m not kidding I swear

All the moves are great! But I'd say Magnus has played many better moves than example 3 which was kinda easy to find

I think the most difficult thing is to get the setup perfect to get to moves like these. Either way, it's incredible and i would never have thought of castling with the 1 move

im watching the video right now and i already got the first one right

the little bits he does are so cringe haha

3rd move was pretty easy to guess, the king was very weak anyways and checkmating it the top priority

oh, so when Magnus sacrifices his queen it's called a 'great move' but when I do it, it 'blunders mate in one'. Typical.

This guy thinks 10000000 moves ahead. When we wins the game in this amount of moves, he’ll be thinking about his roast chicken for his dinner. After thinking about that, he’ll start thinking about how to beat his next opponent.

I guessed queen to h5 because all of them tend to sacrifice it tho It was just a guess

you all can say im lying but i actually predicted bishop h6 and i saw queen h5, i am offically a grandmaster that can beat carlsen in 6 moves

That last part, damn that was really out of the blue. 😯🙌

I didn't see any of these moves but i saw the last move in a seconed

the big bang to the big crunch is 'all time'.
you might be ok to say he's the best there's been so far…..

Does anybody know who Magnus was playing in this game?

Are you Micheal Clark of australia with beard??

    Magnus Carlsen: enters room
Sergey Karjakin: alright imma head out

i got 3 im so proud but still bad at chess at 800 rating

i was surprised i actually found the last position's move lmao

Those top 5 moves are really one more beautiful than the other, with a special exclamation mark for that incredible, astonishing kingside castle vs Karjakin; but the top 1 move is really the best in my opinion. Not only it's a Queen sacrifice, not only it's a fantastic mate in two which involves both the remaining white heavy pieces in a wonderful unique disposition over the board, but it's also really the unique winning move for white in that position. All other moves are losing, due to those two threatened mates by the black Queen.
