Hell, I'm only a 1700 player but I think I could have put up a better fight.
Always play a principled move. Great advice.
I used to play online a lot, one player was a master+, I lost about 576 games of 5 minute blitz vs him before I got a win. But he would do things like that, and it would drive me nuts, because I knew I was losing anyway. Another dude at the world open was 2270 or so, we played a game in the skittles area, his 30 seconds to my 5 minutes, it was effortless for him.
It is amazing to watch the top level players play, those type of games, but it sucks to have to play them.
