Answering a call in the middle of the video is unprofessional. I quit watching at that point.

i love how you dont edit the phone call out xD legend

Saw these games live. Some of the most fun chess I've watched in years.

This million-subscriber madman answering his phone mid-video and not even pausing is an inspiration to all creators

Greatest title of all time! And no click bait

He turned the mic off to make it a prophylactic move 😂.. Even stockfish was not gonna be able to find Agad's brilliant move 😂 13:06

Watching or observing magnus carlsen play chess is akin to kissing your sister..no creativity, no excitement, nothing but machine learning, theory, and no actual chess substance or style..reminds me of certain studio musical groups whose recordings were technically perfect but did absolutely nothing for you and were completely forgettable.. people will forget magnus: Bobby Fischer will NEVER be forgotten

I found that very informative. I would not have understood the position simply by using a chess engine.

Watching this game live was so good. I really wanted Carlsen to win against Hikaru.

7:54 'of course Hikaru did not allow this. He resigned.'

That is a very good way to avoid checkmate 😀

agad you might have edited the phone call

Agad mouse slipped too much. It's like he blundered the game five times 😅😅😅

"I haven't been this excited since they named jeans after me." – Levy

Sorry bout that, it was an important phone Call 😂. I love this guy

Watched this live, I was glad Nakamura didn't run away with it in the 3+1 section, Kept it a nail biter to the very end!

"We been trying to reach you about your car extended warranty"

I absolutely love watching Hikaru getting put in his place. He's the most toxic and obnoxious chess player of our times.

    Shitty call O'Conner…shitty call..!

(I hope people remembers that iconic dialogue)

I dont care if its 90 minute game 5 min or 1 min , my accuracy remains the same 😛

Nakamura = dirty disgusting staller, shame of a player backfired at him

May be the mail man called him between😂

Carlsen accepting the draw offer like a true gentleman, paying the due respect to the five times in a row defending champion.

Hikaru must be wondering how he missed some of those wins – even in bullet.

Felt like the “sorry about that” needed an upgrade and answering the phone is 100% worthy.

Agreeing to a draw was so classy by both players. This is true chess.

It actually was a TWO point victory had Magnus not been such a good sportsman by allowing a draw in a mate position within seconds

I love watching Magnus and Hikaru play each other.

Dude just straight up picked up a call during a video, amd we all just waited for him to finish. Boss move.

C stands for Carlsen, the Maggie. Levy would be jealous of those Rooks.

Let's get ready to rumbleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It's fun watching the heavyweight match

Blitz (or any speed chess) is so tricked up, so gimmicky that it really should be eliminated as an event. It's like watching a billiards player demonstrate trick shots. Blitz is just a way to indulge the public's demand for fast action. It's also why the world championship is based solely on classical games.

Hikaru put up a recap of the a few of the notable games on his channel, too. It's worth checking out if you want to see more detail about his thought process for some of these.

    Agad: Agent Evans speaking.
    Caller: Password.
    Agad: B4.
Caller: The knight falls in Sicily.
    Agad: Another nasty discovery.
Caller: Pause the video and try to win this for the allies.
Agad: There is no defending this, even if we do it in slow motion.
Caller: Then there is nothing left to be done.
    Agad: Check, mate.

Great game from these two Chess speed demons!😜🤪

Hikaru was so far ahead. I blinked and they were back to even.

This rivalry between Hikaru and Magnus has made for some of the most exciting chess I've ever seen.
