How to win over magnus for your next content please..
I love watching Magnus play and (usually) win because he's human and misses things on a regular basis then struggles to even the match or sometimes steal the win.
I'm pretty sure that when Magnus told "I got no top tier rivalry" it was both to trigger Hikaru and also troll the chess world as he's a genuine humble guy.
He's just enjoying the moment when right now, he's in a dominant form and he's won all the last tournaments he's played.
He's toying with everybody's mind XD

Honesty magnus is right. When he preps and trys his best, it feels like no one is even close to him. Everytime he does poorly, it seems like he didn't prepare at all

Magnus is probably right that he has no rivals. However, the quality of his opponents is so good, Magnus has to play outstanding chess to beat them. I prefer to see Magnus winning in the often amazing ways he does rather than seeing a dumbed down version where his win % falls to the level of his current opponents.
I don't know about others, but I like an overpowered main character in any story. Like a hero in novel where in his journey he will meet many people and evolve into even more powerful version of himself.

As an 1800 im starting to appreciate positional chess more. The 1st game is really insightful both tactically and positionally.

when you worked your a** off for 22+ years unleashing the genius mind of Magnus, it is right to watch the amazing positional moves that he makes. The point is not if is interesting or not, it is about supporting the man who has appationated half world to chess, and give him all the attentions that it truly merits. If he can be the only one in this and old era with highest elo and IQ ever, why we not just sit down, bring popcorns and watch him overtaking everyone?
Carlson’s brain capacity and processing power is unmatched. He is the only player in the world with computer level accuracy. Maybe in 10 years another player would show similar signs of greatness . But currently there is no one close to his level

rivalries make the games interesting, messi vs ronaldo made football more enjoyable, nadal and Federer made tennis more enjoyable, similarly kobe vs shaq and jordan vs durant did it to basketball but there's no one to actually challenge Magnus
I hope Magnus keeps winning so convincingly and we expect him to do so in every event, so that, when he loses, it will be unbelievable and tremendous news!!

To be honest I’m watching the tournaments that magus compete in waiting for him to lose ! I mean he is the best , he has no rivals but the joy of watching him playing against amazing grandmasters like Hikaru really keep me up on my toes asking the same question again and again, is it possible? Will he lose ? , that’s simply is the adrenaline dose and the joy I’m getting .
