I dunno I’m a low level player, the Sicilians queen side seems to always get assaulted, plus all the theory in it, it just seems D4 is a much better lower level weapon because QGD is pretty drawish and the theory seems to stick with me better. Against e4 I play the caro which to me personally seems safer than a Sicilian and again most of the ideas are pretty straight forward and there’s not much theory other than like the fantasy which I think white is just worse in. I think this is because the pawns structure is almost always the same.
