Mikhail Tal’s Greatest Queen Sacrifice! Best Chess Games | Moves, Strategy, Tricks & Ideas to Win

Here’s an absolutely incredible game of chess played by Mikhail Tal (the Magician from Riga). Mikhail Tal played one of his greatest queen sacrifices on move 13 of the game. This game was played between Mikhail Tal & Alexander Koblents in 1961 in Riga. Alexander Koblenz (who used to be Tal’s trainer) is playing with the black pieces & Mikhail Tal (the Eighth World Chess Champion) is playing with the white pieces. From this mindblowing game, you can learn some amazing chess tactics, strategies, tricks, traps, moves & ideas, that you can use to win more games against your friends & other players online. This is a typical Tal game & one of the best chess games, which every Sicilian Najdorf player should see! Mikhail Tal was famous for his attacking style of play & he used to create absolute magic on the chess board with his chess pieces. I also have an interesting Chess Puzzle inspired by Mikhail Tal’s games. Let’s see if you can solve that.

Queen to G5 is check mate because queen takes queen rook will take queen the king can't capture the rook because of the bishop.

W queen to F3 mate , bishop to to g4 , queen takes the bishop and checkmate

    👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I found the last moves Tal made here. Btw, I live in Riga.

Why Black Queen from b7 to d7 instead of qb3…

    1. Qtog4 forcing bishoptakes

    2.Rtoh6 forcing pawntakes

    3.Btof7 checkmate

Thanks. I've seen several games between Tal and Koblents but not this one.

I have to say, only Tal can achieve a 1 pawn advantage in the endgame with such style!

Q to f3 and black bishop to defend then took bishop checkmate

    Queen to g4 is check, Bishop× g4(Queen), Rook×h6(Pawn) is check,Pawn× h6(Rook) and Bishop to f7 is a checkmate.😅😅😅😅

Bishop takes bishop because it will be defended by the rook so the queen cannot take

    Queen g4+ : Bishop must take g5… Rook takes h6+ : gh… Bishop f7 ++ mate

Double sacrifice then bishop mate is not only nasty but cold blooded! This is as close to adult child-abuse I've ever seen.

    Puzzle

    1. Queen to G4. Check
    2. Bishop takes queen at G4
    3. Room to h6 check
    4. Pawn takes took on h6
    5. Bishop to f7 checkmate

Thanks for the puzzle it helps me thinking intellectually.

6:12 Queen To G5 then black queen takes then rook to G5 is a checkmate❤

Queen to F3. If Bishop to G4 is played, then simply Queen to G4. Check Mate!

    Puzzle:
The best move is queen to f3 check .
Next bishop moves to g4 covering check.
    Then queen takes bishop on g4 it's a checkmate…🤓

B*e6 then whatever black plays Q*G4 is checkmate
