Magnus has always said he was a sore loser, the worst loser in chess probably. He's so bad at losing he has to win as to not become insane. I kinda get why everyone is simping for him, he's alpha. But let's be honest for only half a second, he just can't take the L. Probably what happened with hans too. Now that watch thing is borderline psychosis. The way he's voicing the slightest doubt over the legitimacy of the win is highly disrespectful, he should do that in private. If he's not happy with the organizers he should take it to them, not to twitter. And definitely not in connection with a game he just lost. He might be the best chess player in the world but i can't respect him for those reasons, let's not even speak of admiration.

You guys cannot seriosuly think Magnus isn't making an accusation that the guy cheated using his watch. He's avoiding another lawsuit.
I genuinely feel that Magnus's opponent did NOT CHEAT ! and looking at Magnus's other games, i feel magnus did not play his best chess in this game. that's my opinion.
We'll never know for sure, same with the Hans game. So until damning evidence is presented, I will consider this as Suleymenov's Magnum Opus.

Magnus, played a poor opening and was the 2nd best player in this match. It was a bad day at the office.
His whinging about analogue watches is as Hikaru simply confirms, Magnus Isn’t the same player he was psychologically 10 years ago.
Chess does that to you in the end. It gets harder and harder to remain no. 1 and then you’re not.
But Magnus never complains when he wins, so he is not interested in abiding chess legislation, only in his own results.
